Though his online income is not entirely dependable on e-Book, his AdSense eBook has been a huge success. To be honest, hes not too familiar to me until I watched his TV show, The Next Internet Millionaire. Addicted to his show, I did a little research about him and was impress by his achievement in online business.
Your Reputation is a Success Factor
One of important factors lead to success in selling e-Book is your reputation. People are not going to buy and waste their money on information from an unknown creator. Thus, your reputation has to be fat. You have to be known as an expert in your selected niche. As of Joel Comm, he is one of the AdSense experts, he talks in conferences, a lot people listen to him both in conferences and on his blogs. From that, people known him as a guru in AdSense. When this happened, the next steps are writing and marketing, its so easy for him to make his product salable.
So, if you are bound to sell an e-Book, try to attract people and fabricate your reputation first. You dont necessarily have to talk in conferences to build your reputation. There are some ways to gradually unveil your presence in your selected niche:
- Take part in the conversations in forums (in your niche).
- Involves in other blogs (in your niche) by commenting, give your suggestion if possible.
- Make a blog and talk about your expertise, submit them to social bookmarking.
- Write for other blogs (with high and consistent traffic), of course together with links to your blog.
- Write articles about your expertise and submit them to as many as article directories as you can.
- Try to solve problems in problem solving websites, one of them is Yahoo! answers.
- Work with credible and establish people.
