No, we are not talking about anything obscene or table tennis. We are talking about getting your Blog Posts out the appropriate areas. That is what you have a pinging service for. If you use Wordpress as your Blog provider, you are good to go. They already have their own Pinging Service added, if not you need to search a decent one out.
Pingomatic.com: No downloads, no installs, no sign-ups. Free to use and it lets you update your pings about once a day. So nothing to loose and everything to gain. Downside? Not as many Directories to ping to as you might like.
Mypagerank.net : Here you have to sign up for free and from what I saw and I looked through the entire Site you don't have to pay for anything. You have several different free tools available within the Site. Pinging Service, Free Search Engine Submission site and more.
Feedshark.brainbliss.com : Another great free Pinging Service and if you are curious to see where you hits come from, scroll all the way down to find the little script you can include in your blog. It lets you track where your hits are coming from.
Search Engine Submission:
Those of you that have read a few of my Articles know by now that I don't take words lightly. The following free download is one Program I would be loath to be without. I come as close to “loving” this program as I will ever come to feeling that strongly about any program.
Websiteceo.com is a free downloadable and ever updating program that will permit you to add your Websites to Search Engines. It has a manual and an automatic set up inside. It gives you options to try other programs out on trial basis as well, but you don't have to use these. This is not a Demo, nor is it a Trial. This is a fully functional Program.
Note: I know that there are thousands of Search Engines out there, but the reality is that there are only about 40 that are being used the most, with
Yahoo
,
Goggle
,
Alexa
and
MSN
being on top. Concentrate on getting your Blog, Website or Store in the highest possible ranking on those.
