If you don't know what is PTC, let me tell you. PTC is a Paid-To-Click program that will pay you when you click on advertisements and view them for a period of time. The payment varies and ranges from 0.25 to 1 cent per click. The number of available advertisements to be clicked also varies depending on your membership status and also depends on the program itself.
I was into PTCs few months ago and I joined 3 PTC programs. Before joining the programs, I made some research on them to know is they really pay or are they just only scams. Up to now, I only reached they minimum payout for one program only but I didn't ask for payment yet. I used they money to rent referrals instead as they say this will boost the earning a bit. And so it does.
I am writing this article is not to promote the PTCs program and ask you to join but I want to share my experience with PTCs so far.
I think PTCs is not worth the effort if you have to spend 4-5 hours a day just to click the advertisements and earned approximately $2 per month. You might want to be online longer just to refresh your browser to check for a new added advertisement to be clicked. As for most of the PTCs, the minimum payouts will be $10; so how many days do you have to wait for the first payment if you only have 4 ads to be clicked?
Surely there is a way to earn faster; by investing your own money first. But do you really trust the online company before you get paid? For me, although I have read the online reviews saying that this PTC A is really paying the members and we can trust it, I can't trust the PTC 100% as I am not receiving any payment yet.
Earning from PTCs needs a lot of time and patience. For people who want to get rich, I mean RICH, and want the money fast, this is not the solution. If you want to get rich, I suggest you to make your own niche site. And surely this niche site also needs a lot of efforts to get succeeded. My conclusion is, there is no short cut to get rich, you have to work really hard for it and then you'll earn the money.

But I know a group who is in a movement to make scam PTCs pays. They work on a movement called profit sharing. A member would sponsor a new PTC, other members would sign up under him. The moment the PTC pays (which will be fast because of a large number of referrals), they will divide the payout among themselves. You don't have to wait too long to get paid with this set up.
