Blogs Common Thread - Where's The Bucks

MyLot.com and PayPoster.com members share more than words. They share the sentiment of looking for easy money. Forget that is a multiple discussion topic in each forum, it appears in other discussions as well. People around the world sit around their computers blogging, "Where's the Bucks." Many are blatant about their complicity by posting for clues to easy money.

Donald Trump alluded in his book "Why We Want You To Get Rich" to the "expect to be handed what you want" way of thinking. Some refer to this as the slacker mentality. These are people expecting that work does not interfere with their free time. It took seed and began to grow in my generation of baby boomers and spread like wildfire in the current emerging generation. These people are not shy about expecting something for just being. The fallout has hit the retail industry hard.

It is not uncommon for a retail store to hire someone who has had multiple jobs in one year. To quote one supermarket manager, "The pickin's are slim, you have to take a chance. There just is not much out there that wants to work." The trend has gone global and echoes in blogs and forums from all over the world.

Blogging for pennies in some forum might feed the family in a third world nation, but not in the rest of the world. I have read outlandish cries of "I'm leaving this place. You can't make any money here." The mentality is almost cartoonish as another person declaring, "I don't need this I'm making two hundred a month at my regular business." Many of the complainers have only been on board a matter of days. They have not taken time to build up a community infrastructure. Many have been originating mind-boggling threads such as, "What's your favorite color?" or "Do you like Tuesday or Wednesday better?" Their contributions to other forums consist of "I like that too." I found a real intellectual response to a forum I started that asked that you give your opinion and explain why. I specially asked for no responses of only two or three words. What I got from one person was, "I like that because I like that." A case of not even putting your two cents in, as that is what a response pays. I wonder how many hours the person languished before posting. The most common discussion, why is it only a few people are top rated every week. The movie title, Clueless tags a whole generation very well.

have stated this in forums time after time. If you are looking to make a living blogging for pennies, get real. Paid blogging provides a forum to build a base from and earn enough to buy lunch for the family at Mickey D's at the end of the month. In a sense, you are being paid for the time you would have been wasting for free.

Here is a clue to getting better bucks, work for it. Money is not something you mix in a cup with hot water and suddenly become rich. I knew a guy who used to play two hundred dollars of lottery tickets a day. He claimed he was always stays ahead of the game. His wife verified he was up a hundred dollars one month and they celebrated by buying scratch offs with the money. All plays lost.

I write. I use the blog forums to gather information. In three days, I made $4.32. I figure if I try hard enough I could accumulate a whole ten dollars a week. The forty dollars might cover a movie with popcorn and drinks at the multiplex. Now, the money I make with the information I collect will definitely pay the new mortgage. If you work at it, it can work for you. The key word is work. Happy Blogging.
