There is an abundance of money-making opportunities on the net. For me, one sure way of earning money is to save it.
Considering the high cost of almost everything, would there still be some money to save? I believe so. Here are some ways to do it:
- Everyday, when you go to work, you will have some coins and loose change here and there. Why not keep them in a piggy bank? Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use it to buy little things, like candies, trinkets, or something like that.
- You can also save any extra money that comes along. For example, you have received cash incentives, tax refunds, performance bonuses or something of the sort --- save them, instead. Don't go to the mall thinking, “Ooh…I have something extra here to spend.”
- Whenever you have to go to the mall, do it when there's a sale. You can really save a lot by doing this. Items that are on sale are not necessarily of not-so-good quality. You can stumble on some great finds if you have the patience to go over each item.
- Before you do your grocery shopping, prepare a list of things that you need to buy, then stick to that list. Do not buy anything else that is not on your list.
All these have worked for me. Try them, too, and earn money by saving!
