The internet has offered many possible ways to make a great deal of money in a short period of time but one way that I found is a terrible way of making money is paid surveys. Although it may sound appealing to take a thirty minute survey and make five bucks in reality it is not worth the time nor the effort. There are a few main problems with the paid survey one is getting to the survey, two is the many scams they throw at you and three is getting “paid”.
The first problem is actually getting to the survey itself which may not seem hard to some because it is advertised to be that way but in reality it may be the most difficult part. Here are some of my personal experiences with these extremely tricky sites. First when you sign up you fill out a standard internet form with email name ECT. And the site says they will email you opportunities for paid surveys which some do and some don't and either way you better not miss that email because the spam is endless.
Another problem with paid survey sites is that some ask for you to actually PAY to gain access to the site where chances are you cannot make up even the small amount you had to pay to get in in the first place. This scam that these websites run is something you should not fall victim to because everyone knows how dangerous it is to give a credit card number a sneaky internet company. Another scam that these websites run is a minimum payout which is usually a reasonable thing to ask because paying someone five cents is not worth it to the company. But in the paid survey website case the payouts are high and just not reasonable goals for the amount of time you need to put in to reach them.
If you are lucky enough to find a survey you are happy with either through email or some other way actually taking and getting through the survey is another deal. First off most surveys will ask you a few introductory questions to see if you are “qualified” for the survey and in many if not most cases you might not be what they are looking for and therefore you cannot take the survey.
Getting paid is one of the most difficult things in the whole process of paid surveys because they make it so hard to get to. First it takes months to actually confirm you even did the survey and in my experience that never even happens. Second the money in your account on the website is hard to get too mainly because of very high minimum payouts. Third some of the biggest names in this business don't even use pay pal which is basically the bank of the internet.
