The method of becoming PayPal verified varies from country to country. In Australia, you must have a bank account.
- First, go to PayPal.com and login.
- Now click "Get Verified" on the left sidebar.
- Enter in your bank account details carefully.
- Confirm your details.
- Now wait about 3 days and PayPal will make two very small (e.g. 7 cents) deposits into your account. Use Internet Banking or get a statement from your branch to find out what these deposits were.
Enter the deposit details into the form provided. Click Submit and you are verified!
When you are verified, buyers have confidence in you, you can do more with PayPal and you lift the spending limits.
