How to Earn Extra Money Using Adsense

Everyone's looking for a way to earn extra. A simple and convenient way is through creating your own website and allowing posting of advertisements.

Have you ever been so broke, so in need of extra cash one day that you surfed the net to look for a part-time, work-from-home job that pays well? I did. I have come across several websites that says you can earn hundreds of dollars just by joining their site. I have joined survey sites where you need to fill-up several survey sheets on new products while earning points that can later on be redeemed. I have also tried my luck on those networking things that require you to pay $20 per month. You earn it back by getting a commission for every additional member that joins after you. A few worked, most did not. I was close to putting a stop in my endless search and maybe just save money by not buying internet prepaid cards. Ad sense stopped me just in time. I can never be more grateful!

What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is probably the easiest way to earn that much needed extra cash. In layman's term, Adsense pays you for allowing them to post their clients' ads, whether text or image, in your website. Payment is determined based on the number of times these ads are clicked. The rates vary depending on how much their client pays them for a specific ad. If they get more, you get more! A detailed step-by-step procedure on how to join Adsense is available in their website including their policies and guidelines.

Your Main Tool

You will need to create a powerful, organized and informative website that focuses on a particular theme. It should at least contain fifteen pages for Google to even pay attention. Never make the common mistake of having an “Everything-Under-the-Sun” site or a personal website where the main topic is YOU. This will not be of interest to other viewers and will not create much web traffic. Another factor that Google looks for in a website is its overall appeal. This includes content, design and clarity. Your website address should also be concise, e.g. http://www.yoursite.com and nothing like http://yourchoicefreewebhofst.com/yoursite/member03f02/hfome.html. Hint: Choose a web host that will help you get the most out of your site for search engines to get more hits. This may mean paying a monthly fee but keep in mind that what comes out of your pocket can come back twice or ten times more.

Dos and Don'ts

One, never plagiarize! Copying someone else's web page will get you nowhere. Google Adsense can detect sites that are a carbon copy of an already existing one. Two, to avoid relying on other people's articles, choose a topic for your site which you are interested in. This way, you have more things to write about and more information to share. Knowing and loving what you're doing will encourage you to continuously improve your site, possibly leading you to more traffic and greater income. Three, capitalize on having tons of friends! Get them to place a link on your site on theirs and you do the same for them. This is very convenient, not to mention beneficial, for the both of you especially if you are bordering on related topics.

Adsense: The Best Choice

Earning that spare cash is easy once you focus on what you're doing. Joining Google Adsense is like hitting two birds with one stone. You get to write about your interest and earn money at the same time, all from the comfort of your own home!

Hi Mr. Nice Guy. There are a number of web hosts that offer cheap monthly fees. But if you don't feel comfortable paying, you can try sites such as i.ph where they allow you to create your own site for free. However, any income from AdSense will be shared 50/50.
