I have been scammed. Don't let this happen to you. How to know when you are being scammed.
Hi. I am so glad that you chose to read this article. I have been scammed three times on the Internet in one month! I am getting sick of it, and I don't want to see it happen to any one else! Luckily, it will not happen to you. I say luckily because you were lucky enough to stumble upon this article. I want to let you know ahead of time that I am not trying to sell you anything whatsoever, this is merely an article written by a stay at home mom, who is sick and tired of being scammed by internet jobs that say they will work, and then prove themselves wrong!
So enough babbling, let's get down to business. Here is a list of how you can tell if an internet business is going to work, or if you are being scammed!
The first and golden rule to not being scammed is this; Read through the entire e-mail, letter, website, etc. Do not go signing up for anything without reading the details. Some of the people that sell the "Get Rich Quick" e-books and packages basically let you know before you sign up if you are being scammed!
While reading through the details keep in mind some pretty typical words or sentences that should send red flags flying, such as; I made thousands my first day. Anytime anyone tells you that they made thousands the first day is lying, unless they are the president! Stay away from products that use thousands, millions, automatic, no work involved, and secret! There are a lot more words than those, but those are the main ones.
Never ever buy something that says there is a deadline. The deadline is a sales pitch and they want you to buy now! They do not want you to take your time thinking about it, because they know that when you rationally look at what they are selling you, you will realize that it is junk! They know this so they throw in the line about "this offer only lasts for three more hours, so buy now while it's still this price!"
I would recommend not trying to be an affiliate of a product, unless you have your own website. I am sure if you had your own website you would be able to sell quite a bit, however a lot of us out there trying to make a living online (or even just extra cash) do not have our own website, therefore are not going to be able to promote a product!
These are just a few ways to protect yourself while looking for ways to make money online. The good news is there are actually real ways to make money online! I have only found four ways of actually making any money with the internet. Here is a list of the ways I have found to make a pretty decent income;
PTC (paid to click) There are hundreds of websites built just so you can join and click on ads. They will pay you to click on an ad and view the add for anywhere from ten seconds to thirty seconds. This is not a very high paying way to make money. You are able to buy referrals which helps your revenue a little, however each ad you click is only worth one penny (U.S. currency) or less.
There are also hundreds of websites that will pay you to complete surveys for them. This is a pretty decent way to make an income, the surveys are usually worth one dollar to seventy-five dollars. (U.S. currency) There are many survey sites that will also send you what they call paid e-mails, which when you read them you are paid one to two cents apiece for each e-mail. They usually send one to two a day.
A new method I just started doing is called trading. Trading is where other people pay you to complete offers. They call this going green because you are being someone's referral and when you have completed all of the requirements you go green. It's a very good way to make money online. You get paid to sign up for trial offers, or to buy things you would already be purchasing. I have found that it's a good way to try out new services that the internet or seperate companies have to offer basically for free. You can make anywhere from five dollars to two hundred dollars just for going green!
GPT (get paid to post)There are forums that pay you just to be a part of the conversations there. A very good forum that has proven it's name is www.moneytalkpro.com. They will pay you for each post as well as each reply that you recieve for your post! It's not a very high paying way to make money online, but it sure is fun!
The way to generate more income is to make sure that what you are doing actually works. It's mostly trial and error. The above listed ways actually do work. I use all four. If you are looking to make a salary that is enough to help out with the bills or even pay the bills alone, my advice is to combine the methods I have listed.
Please keep in mind as you venture off, the internet world is a big world, use common sense, and trust your gut. You now have the knowledge of what you have just read, please use it. Do not let yourself get ripped off! The last thing I would like to say is Good luck and God Bless!
I've tried a couple of these with no luck, so it's good to learn from someone who is miles ahead of me. Thanks!

Anyone who has been scammed three times in one month has no business offering advice to others. The author needs to do less writing and more reading.

Ken what the author is trying to do is help other's not get scammed by telling them what worked for her and what didn't.
