Adwords' Best Alternative

When keyword prices are just too high to make a profit, which competitor should you choose? Microsoft or Yahoo?

There was a time when Google had not enough money to grow. They were a new kind of search engine but like any business they need money to grow. They needed some kind of monetization system to make money. They had the fabulous idea of selling keywords to Advertisers who wanted to reach a very particular market at a very particular time, the moment they were looking for their products searching for that keywords. Adwords was invented! Every single person who wants to sell anything to anyone can do it with Adwords for at least 0.01$ per click. The most interesting feature of this product is you only pay when you get visitors, in this case when they click on your ads so you are almost guaranteed to make a profit. Like a Google employee said in an official video "...this is a system where you pay 1$ and you get 10$...". Adwords is now the way Google makes 98% of all revenue! Like any great system, there are always tough competitors fighting for the same fish. In this case, two big sharks, Microsoft and Yahoo!

Adwords is already too expensive for beginners. People like you who are just starting have a hard time making a profit since keywords have too many bids and this raises the cost per acquisition to a price that makes almost impossible to make a profit. The solution is trying one competitor. I don't recommend trying more than one since you need too much time and effort to manage all campaigns effectively otherwise you risk loosing your money. In my opinion Adcenter is the best Adwords alternative. Don't get me wrong! Adwords is much better and superior and should be always your first choice but when prices get just too high Adcenter is the next place to go. Why? Microsoft is one of the biggest companies in the world and has some decades of experience. People that use Adcenter are usually the high society and la finesse ones with money they want to spend. Keywords don't have many competitors yet. Microsoft new CEO, Steve Balmer says Microsoft will be better than Google in online Advertising even if it's that last thing he does, so you can see Microsoft might catch up Google.
