Creating a Free Website!

Want to create your own website...without having to pay for software and downloads? Need to promote your business? Getting left out on the world wide web? Don't worry! There's a free and easy way to make one.

Here's a step-by-step guide.

1. Go to freewebs.com
2. Go to "Start Now".
3. Choose a username. For example, if your username is coolguy21, you website is called www.freewebs.com/coolguy21. Make a password, type in your e-mail, clarify your gender, tell which year you were born in and read the terms of service. If you accept, check the box and continue.
4. Now you can choose the template (design/color) of the web page. If you pick one and you don't like it, there's no need to worry! You can simply edit your page afterwards.
5. Now pick a site title, which can also be changed later, choose 3 categories that tell people what your website is about. Now just state where you live and you're done!

Congratulations, you now have your own webpage! That was easy wasn't it? But wait...you have the webpage but...there's nothing on it. Not to worry! You can make forums, forms, a blog, an album, your profile, videos, anything! There's so much to add!

Uploading Pictures

Pictures can speak a thousand words...so let's upload some! Just click on upload pictures and drag and drop! You can also upload your videos and add music as a theme on your website.

Making Forums

Forums are a great thing to add to your website! It's really easy also!

1. Put in a category title.
2. Create subcategories. This is very important. You don't want discussions about Mars and Football on the same page. It is very unorganized.
3. Now you can click on a forum name to create and manage your topics.
4. Click "View my forum" if you want to see what's going on or you can just go back to the site manager if you think you're done.

A Blog

A blog is basically your journal of what's going on in your life. There's not much to explain here. Just type whatever you want to your heart's content.
