Try to when creating a website to stick to one topic only. You should start adding more variety of content when you get more traffic. If you know how to program you could try making a registration and login form for your website. You should also add a script to count the amount of registered accounts and display on the home page. If you aren't a programmer try and hire one.

This is a good step to try out after finishing the other 2. This is a good step if your content is ready for the world to see. The abbreviation SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization which practically explains itself. Try to make the variety of things you can do on your website for the topic of your website. Start by checking Google, Yahoo, Live Search if you can find your website. Also remember that the top 10 results are the most visited so if your website is on their either you are a good advertiser or there are barely and good websites with the same topic as you. You should find places to add your site to the search engine.
