I have made my sites on two free web servers. One is hosted by Google and other is hosted by free servers.
The server provided by Google is good in a way that it is little more easy to use especially if you are a beginner. But, if you are an expert in this field then this web server should not be your choice because it gives you very limited commands. So, you can't make a very user friendly website.
But, the server provided by free servers is a better option for the experts. However, beginner can also use this website as it is also quite user friendly. But, it has got a wide variety of commands. This can make handling chaotic for a beginner. So, beginners must not try too much too early.
Overall, the server provided by free servers is much better option for making your website. But, since its opponent is Google who has toppled almost every one who has came across its path. It won't take the defeat easily and in near future it should be the most powerful server for making the free websites.
So, currently you can go for free servers but in future you must definitely go for Google.
