Facebook and Myspace are often a topic for debate in schools and social places. The question always seems to be, "Which is better?" In this piece, I hope to compare and contrast the two, in order ton help you choose the right one.
Myspace seems to be the more popular choice for Teenagers between the ages 13-16, while Facebook has a much larger range of users. But Myspace allows the user create their own personal profile, with colors and music, while Facebook has only one, default style. Myspace is also less organized, and much slower than Facebook, just because of the fact that it has so much more to load on each page.
Finding your friends on Facebook is much easier than Myspace, because Facebook uses your real information to automatically allow you to add people from your school. On Myspace, you must know the user's email in order to find them.
Facebook also is a bit more risky for your computer. Apps are easily uploaded, and some contain nasty hacking viruses, but besides that, apps are mostly the same for the two.
It's a close call, but I would venture to say that Facebook is the better website, just because it is much faster, and communication is easier, and that's what the site is all about. Communicating with friends.
