If you are familiar with myspace than you might know a lot about it. Can people find out information about you if you don’t know them? Maybe they can, maybe they can’t but there are a few things you can do if you use myspace to stay a little safe. Never give out information that you wouldn’t want a stranger to know about you.
Some examples are, never use or give your full name or address of your home. Try to only talk to people you know and never meet anyone that you only talk too. If you must meet a person you have been talking too online, than bring a friend or bring two friends and meet in a public area where a lot of people are around, like a shopping mall or restaurant in a busy section of town.
Also if you are a teen, don’t talk to someone who is a lot older than you and never give out information about you or even a little information because the littlest information could possibly be used. There are a lot of things out there and online crime is just as dangerous as any other crime out there, so play it safe and have fun.
