Myspace is a fast-growing social website. You can chat with friends, meet new friends, and update your profile, so people can know all about you. Your friends probably talk about it all the time. My friends do. All but 4 of my good friends have myspace accounts.
Starting your own account is fairly simple. Just go to myspace.com, and join. Its that simple. But when you first start out, updating your profile may take a while. You should put up your favorite music, favorite movies, interests, top friends etc. And pictures are a must. After all, your friends want to make sure you are who you say you are.
Now that your account is all set up, you need to get your friends added. Simply search your friends' names, then select invite friend. Once they receive the invite, they will either accept or decline. If they accept, which they should if they are your friend in real life, then they will be added to your friend list. If they decline, then they won't.
All right, your profile is updated, and your friends are added. Now you can chat with your friends with the myspace IM (instant messaging). This will allow you to send messages to your friend, and talk to them in real-time.
You can update your profile at any time you wish, so update it regularly so your friends will not get bored of seeing the same exact stuff for months. You may also add more friends if you wish. You will most likely get invites from people you do not know. Accept if you wish, but be sure not to give out private information to people you do not know.
Best wishes.
Sincerely,
-Liane Schmidt.
