This is article is on my favorite Internet television and movie web sites. In order to watch Internet TV and Movies you need fast Internet. I have RoadRunner high speed internet.
One of the pluses of watching TV programs on the internet is the convenience of watching the programs when I can. I work from 1 am to 1pm. These web sites allow the opportunity to watch shows without having to set a dvd recorder. Of course the live streaming I have to watch when the program is on. However, I get to choose from what I like. I hated cable because of all the channels but no good programming.
There are many choices. However, I only list the ones I personally use. The program I enjoy the most is According to Jim. This program can be found on ABC. In addition, I watch Lost HD on this site. The ABC web site also has other shows such as Ugly Betty, Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives, and Men in Trees.
My second favorite show is Monk. I see Monk on HULU. This web site has many TV shows like 24 and the Simpson's. It also has movies. In addition, I watch Battlestar Galactica on this web site.
The next site I see is where I watch the Simpon's, Boones, and House. This is the Fox on Demand web site. This web site also has Back to You, Cops, and other Fox TV programs.
On Fridays I watch the OCC Pauls on Discovery Online at Channel Chooser at 6pm central, USA time. This channel is found in the Information category on the left side of the web site home page. Some time I will watch CNN news, which is on the news category.
Freetube is also like Channel Chooser except it has more channels I watch. I see CSPAN, Food Network, MvTV movies, Nasa, , and many more. It also has categories on the left from were you choose other live content. By live I mean that they control the programming. On FOX, ABC, and Hulu the viewer chooses what on the web site he or she wants to watch.
Then sometimes I want to roam and visit different countries. WWITV is a good web site to see TV channels from other countries and the US. Another good web site to see international TV channels on the web is Beelinetv. This channel, however, has less choices then wwitv.com.
I have also found:
- The Scifi channel
- The TBS channel were I watch Seinfeld and Just Shoot Me.
- The TNT channel were I watch Charmed. Okay I drool over Alyssa Milano. So sue me.
Moreover, I have the Vongo movie service, which is $9.99 plus tax a month. For this service, you download the player and then upgrade to their member service.
A while ago I hade problems with Vongo, However, this time when I installed it I activated my firewall to accept it and I have had no more problems with the player opening.
I have also had Netflix. However, I did not like their selection on the “watch instantly” feature and how long it took for the movies I rented to get to me. That is why I did not add a hyperlink for Netflix.
