Live Search Club

It's not exactly about making money, but you can earn prizes.

I went to Live Search Club to play games and win tickets to purchase prizes. If you're good with word games you will get tickets pretty quick.

Some reviews have said that people never got their prizes, but it's probably because they were using bots to do the puzzles for them. I earned my tickets and (for some reason) I traded in my tickets for a coffee mug and a year-long magazine subscription to Cosmo Girl.

I received my mug around the date I was told that I would, and I received my magazine about a month after that. You can also use your tickets for charity but I'm selfish and use most of my tickets on prizes. The prizes range from ring tones to xBox controllers to a vacuum cleaning robot.

As long as you don't cheat, I would say the website is a good time investment.

Sounds good. I might try it.

Live Search Club games are awesome! I've been playing since Oct. 2007 and have received about $1,200 in prizes to date, probably a conservative figure based on the research I've done on comparison shopping sites. The larger prizes I have won and received are the Samsung camcorder, Magellan GPS, and Roomba. I have also gotten both web cams, the chat headset, a T-shirt (nice quality), and a deck of cards (no full decks in our house, so what the heck -- it's free!). I have a copy of Vista on order as well as some music downloads and a magazine subscription. All free -- even shipping charges!

That being said, it hasn't always been easy. I've had to follow-up a few times on some of the items and it has been somewhat frustrating to receive canned email responses that don't address my specific questions. That seems to have improved a bit lately, but slow communication still prevails so patience is an absolute necessity. For the most part, I did receive my items within the 12 week parameter, give or take.

All in all, it's still a great deal. Once I received my first "big" prize, I was addicted. Sometimes on the weekends I spend several hours a day playing the games, mostly because I work and don't get a chance to play much during the week. The three "big" items I won are little luxuries that I could not otherwise have justified spending my money on. They are all really nice, but I especially love the GPS -- I don't know how I ever got around without it.

Good luck!

I ordered the camcorder on Sunday. I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. Have any of you had that problem? Who do I contact for help if I need it.
Thanks.

I order the camcorder also, but I received some kind of email that says that they will send me another email. I don't know. I have been trying to play more games lately, but everytime I try to go to the website, it directs me to MSN. Has anybody else had this problem??

Don't worry too much about not receiving confirmation emails. I have ordered and received the Zune, Roomba, and Zune Case - I got the confirmation email on only the Zune. They state that a shipping email will be sent as well. I did receive as shipping confirmation on the Zune case, 3 weeks AFTER actually receiving the case. Their email response leaves a lot to be desired.

I can say that the site appears to be legit. Myself and 4 friends have been playing for some time and as of now between the 5 of us we have received:
3 Zunes
2 Zune Cases
2 Roombas

we currently have on order but have not yet received:
3 Camcorders
1 Zune
Some Zune accessories

They appear to ship items out in batches. I ordered a Roomba at the end of December and a friend ordered one 3 weeks later - we received them on the same day. Likewise, the 2 Zune cases were ordered a month apart and were both received on the same day, and 2 of the Zunes were ordered over a month apart and received within 2 days of each other. I ordered my camcorder on April 2, have not yet received it, but expect it to come within the next month or so - and am guessing yours will arrive about the same time.

I don\'t see how anyone can argue that this site is not legitimate. It\'s operated by Microsoft, and the only problem is that they license the prize distribution to a 3rd party company. As stated earlier, their customer service is the only thing that leaves much to be desired. Example, I ordered a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo on 11/30/07, and just got a confirmation e-mail 05/12/08. When I sent an e-mail after the 12 week shipping estimate (3 months ago), I got the generic \"we regularly screen for cheaters\" e-mail. It\'s a good site, nice prizes, updated regularly, but don\'t do it if you\'re planning on moving anytime soon.
