The 10 Best Ways to Get Web Traffic

You can have the best website in the whole wide world, but if you don't have traffic you won't make a single cent. Learn how to make people come to you.

  1. Submit Your Site To Digg. This is the biggest social network and news websites. Every time something new happens, people immediately submit it to Digg. You can get 1000's of visitors in minutes after your successful submission.
  2. Create a Squidoo Lens. This website invented by Seth Godin let's you create lens which are nothing more than webpages that will get tons of traffic! These pages rank almost always on the Google first 10 results and placing links here to your website is a guaranteed way to milk some visitors.
  3. Make an Ezine Article. Like Squidoo, this website has millions of visitors per month, maybe even per day, and the traffic is laser targeted so expect a lot of CTR and Conversions with this traffic.
  4. Submit your website to Stumble Upon. This greatest website does not need any introduction. After Google, it's the best website in the whole wide world.
  5. Submit it to Technorati. Like Squidoo this news website attracts a lot of visitors.
  6. Buy Adwords traffic. If you pay just 0.01$ per visitor you can get 1000 visitors highly targeted from Google. Not bad!
  7. Adcenter like Adwords delivers you the best traffic in the world from Microsoft.
  8. Make a blog about your website. If you make a blog in blogger you can add some Adsense to it, make money in the process and have your blog listed in Google Blog Search and in Blogger directory!
  9. Make another website like some kind of mirror. If you have a website about cars, make another about car parts, the visitors will come from website to another and you make money with both!
  10. Finally the big ONE! Google likes what!? Content! Making TONS of quality content will make you the biggest fortune you can make on the internet. It's the content that people like and "buy". The buy is in the ads obviously but the ads to make good money need good content too so they "know" which ones are the best to your "costumers"

Thank you for posting this information. I am new to this and have found that many people dont want to share information about how to garner success in this area.

That's a very informative article. Thanx.

@Crystal Tankersley - I know how lost you could feel, all the 'attracting traffic' and 'making money with blogs' talk could be overwhelming. Im new here too. But i dont agree with you when you say people dont share information. Look harder and you'll find atleast 1 such helpful article every week. Nelson Doyle's articles are mostly about writing tips. Then theres Liane Schmidt's recent article about using pictures in the article. Then theres Jared Stenze's articles on blogging. Anne Lyken Garner's article about getting your article on the hot content list could be useful. IcyCucky's article "how to make friends". I dont remember anyone elses name now, but there is all the help you need, just explore.

Hope this information was helpful to you.

You have a wealth of very valuable information here. It is because of people like you that actually share their information that newbies like me can actually learn how to get more traffic. Some people are not willing to share such information out of fear that someone might become better than them.. Just in addition to your comment about digg: you have to get in there and digg the crap out of other people's stuff and add lots of friends before you should submit anything of your own.. If you get in there and immediately start uploading your own articles, people will not digg your stuff.
