This one has a very interesting story. Back in 1998 three friends had a competition to see who could generate the most traffic on a web page. Canadian art student Deidre LaCarte decided to create a web page based on her pet hamster Hampton. Using a series of animations and an audio clip from Disney's Robin Hood, she created her simple but hit web page.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Based upon a song of the same name recorded by the DJ Chipman, the best known version of the animation shows a heavily pixelated animated dancing banana moving back and forth to the song's repetitive chorus. In some versions of the animation, the song's lyrics are displayed on screen.

Hitting one of the Top 5 Fads by PC World, this animation first came to the net in 2003. It is a short but looping animation consisting of badgers, mushrooms, and snakes. There have been several follow ups to this animation which can be found all over the net.

Numa Numa

Our last video is possibly one of the best known videos online. The Numa Numa Dance, as performed by Gary Brolsma, was viewed more than two million times just months after it was posted online. Gary dances and sings along to the song "Dragostea din tei" by the Moldovan pop group O-Zone.

Keep watching for those new videos that crawl their way to the top. Competition is fierce now. A video has to have all the right (or wrong) stuff to make it online. You never know what you might find, but you know it will make you laugh!

The site attracts millions upon millions unique visitors per day and new videos are added every hour of the day. It would take several lifetimes to watch every single video on this site. If you cannot find something that is worth your time watching, then just produced your own video and uploaded to YouTube to share with the world.

This site offers visitors hundreds of free classic movies and television shows that are in public domain and are legal to watch and download on the PC or mobile player. According to Moymoy, his brother, Roadfill, is a typical, shy-type of guy who only loves to make movies for the sake of personal use. However, after confronting the convincing forces of his brother, Obeso brothers have started making their funniest videos lip-synching mostly the most popular MTV songs, such as N'Sync's Dirty Pop, Alicia Keys' No One, the famous Brazilian song, Marimar, Spice Girls' Wanna be and many more.

Due to their popular pieces reaching fans across the globe - Mexicans, Columbians, "UKians", Californians, Canadians and, of course their nationality, the Filipinos - GMA and MTV, the country's top and leading media groups, offered the Obeso brothers a contract on one of the famous shows in the Philippine entertainment- Bubble Gang.

I wonder what J.K. Rowling thinks of it?

Rihanna - Don't Stop the Music

She may be one of the biggest artists in the world but she's even bigger on YouTube. Rihanna's music videos are constantly in the most watched of all time. Her most watched is currently Don't Stop the Music with over 63 million views. Extremely impressive for a 20 year old. How come she's so popular? The camerawork? Her voice? Or good old fashioned sex appeal? You decide.

Laughter is the universal language. A baby laughing is universal cuteness. Babies laughing are big on YouTube. This one is the biggest of all. Over one and a half years this adorable baby has shown over 56 million people its infectious laugh. Listen out for BING!...BONG! from off camera. Ok Go - Here it goes again

Four guys on treadmills. Doesn't sound like the most exciting video does it? But this ultra low budget music clip from band Ok Go has been made world famous from one of the most original and infectious ideas about treadmills. You have to see it to understand it. And across the world over 37 million people have, and have.

Justin Timberlake on SNL

This short skit on Saturday Night Live parodying 90s white hip hop quickly became one of the top 5 most viewed YouTube videos of all time. Then it was pulled by NBC for copyright reasons. But videos of Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's classic performance can still be found, thankfully, because this one really is a must-see. What's the perfect present all year round?

This guy is pretty amazing. I haven't seen anybody jump this high before, and then to do what he is doing? This is a great video.

The Basketball Dunk

Watch as this kid fights off his inability to dunk a basketball by adding a trampoline. He dunks something, but not the ball. I love how his friend laughs before he knows he is okay.

World Record Jump

This is from an Asian television show where a dude tries to break a record. The distance is amazing.

Bear on Trampoline

This is the famous bear in the tree clip. I thought they only did this in cartoons, but I guess it is real.

Slow Motion Back Flip Gone Bad

This kid lets us watch his mistake in slow motion, I think that is the only reason this clip is funny.

From the Roof

These two kids jump from a roof, but one lands early and sends the other one flying. I like the slow motion shot.

Face through the Springs

I thought this was pretty funny, since it is a girl and the she is laughing hysterically.

It's addicting. I can get enough of the wassup commercial. There is one that features just Nintendo characters. Can you name them all?

These kids are funny. Instead of drinking a Bud, they use Milk, buts a still hilarious to watch.

I know how scary the Teletubbies are, but once again the wassup guys know no bounds and this is great.

OKAY I know there are two guys on one guitar. That already rocks. One guy for bass and the better of the two picking out banjo like melodies. These guys really have their stuff together. The song that they chose to cover is Jerry's Breakdown written by Jerry Reed and together is spot on. Very nice.

Impossible guitar work, or at least sounds that way... Damn this guy can tap his fingers on that fret board like no other. His sound is very unique and along with that acoustic guitar makes a nice listen.

Andy is and will always be my favorite acoustic guitar player. He used something I never thought possible, a creative and awesome tap-style guitar along side his hand slaps for a drum beat. WOW! I dig how the song sounds like a rainy day but not dark almost like the sun is still shining.

1. Help, My Snowman's Burning Down (1964)

This multi-award winning surrealistic film is supposedly a satire on Madison Avenue advertising. It's full of bizarre images: a fully-clothed man using a typewriter in the bathtub, a woman's hand coming out of the drain, and a roll of toilet paper attacking a man's leg are just some of the scenes within this strange film. You will also hear some pretty good jazz in it too. Oh, and around the 6:45 mark the guy sets fire to his own hat to keep warm. Now why didn't I think of that?

2. Cliché Family in Televisionland (1965?)

This film is a corny parody of the typical television family. The Internet Archive describes this movie as an "in-house" joke made by a large television commercial producer. Some of the scenes are actually quite funny, and it's amazing to see how many of the clichés in this film still hold true today. A little after the five minute mark, a man smokes two cigarettes at the same time. Ah, men were men back then...

3. Munchers: A Fable (1973)

I've used the word surrealistic many times before, and I'm gonna use it again for this film. What you've got here is your basic surrealistic stop-motion clay animation story on proper dental hygiene. Talking teeth, a bad guy named Jack Sweet, and dental abuse with what looks to be a handheld bulldozer abound. Man, the 70's sure were weird.

4. Mud People (1989)

Wait, I take that "70's was weird" crack back... it seems that the 80's were even weirder by the looks of this video. Some sort of weird performance art event where people acted like cave people in downtown San Francisco. You know, running around in the revolving doors, angering people trying to work, that sort of thing. This video is much too short in my opinion; much more footage of the "mud people" going berserk would have been great.

5. VD is for Everybody (1969)

It is? None for me, thanks! A montage of different people make up this short video, including a very catchy song as well. One lyric goes: "Anyone can share VD with someone as nice as you..." Awww. Brings a tear to my eye, this public servant announcement does. And now that I've watched the video three times, I feel like I may need to go to the doctor.

6. Trailblazer In Space (1961)

If you've ever had a hankering to learn the whole process of firing a chimpanzee into space, then this is the flick for you. This video documents a 1961 space mission, where Ham - an innocent chimpanzee, is the passenger on a rocket pointed way, way up. Everything goes fine in the primate's eighteen minute space flight, thankfully. Ham was a true trailblazer into space, and this is his proud record.

7. That's Right

This is an excellent example of a mashup made with a video from the Internet Archive. Made by a fellow named Ken Smith, this short film is, well... you have to see it. Including a whole bunch of strange clips from weird movies, this mashup is genuinely a pleasure to experience. That's right!

8. About Fallout (1955)

No, this mini-documentary isn't about the classic computer game, unfortunately. Attempting to explain nuclear fallout and be reassuring at the same time isn't easy, but this movie does its best. Filmed in glorious 50's color, the narrator has a very calm, easy-going voice which almost makes you believe that being bombarded by lethal radiation is really no big thing after all.

9. The True Experience of Officer Harold Sewell (1938)

This film is a prime example of what happens when you give a lousy script to a bunch of bad actors. A commercial for Eveready batteries, this one minute and twenty second tour de force is supposedly a true account of police officer Howard Sewell stopping a car being wrecked by a train by using his flashlight. A flashlight using Eveready batteries, of course. The great parts in this video are when Officer Sewell says, "I'll stop it!" and dashes off like Superman, and at the end where everybody is thanking the flashlight for warning the train to stop, instead of Officer Sewell.

10.Tribune-American Dream Picture (1924)

A silent movie from 1924, this short flick documents a woman's dream. It's a strange one too, with her running around trying to find her baby, who eventually turns up driving a car! Also the man stomping fish in the middle of the street doesn't help matters much. Somehow the lack of sound in this movie only makes it even more surreal.

11. Knife-Thrower and Children (1950s)

Here is a touching short film about a mother lovingly throwing knives at her two young daughters. Back in the 1950's, this sort of thing was an entertaining family act; these days it would get Louella Gallagher, the mother in this video, at least ten years behind bars. She is very talented at throwing the knives, although one has to wonder if her kids are still alive today.
