How to Get Rich Eventually

Most articles on the Internet that mention the word 'rich' are purely concerned with getting rich quick, and most of them (if not all of them) are scams preying on our dreams. Similarly most things that promise you can 'make money on the Internet' are also scams, preying on our desire for something more than a 9-5 job. If the con-men were more honest, the final product they sell (to get rich quick) would be a one page booklet containing the advice; “make a get rich quick course and sell it.”

Fortunately it is possible to make money on the Internet, and it is also possible to get rich; you just need to realize it will take a long time to happen and it will take a lot of effort to get it there. In order to start down a path towards financial freedom, start looking for systems that make you money without you having to put further effort into them (beyond effort of their first creation). Royalties are a good example of this. A writer pens a novel, sells it to a publisher, then continues to receive royalties from sales of the work for as long as the work is available. The novel requires no more effort from the writer beyond the effort to make it, but becomes a valuable source of income thereafter.

A job on the other hand requires constant effort. As soon as you make your weekly pay, you have to go back and do it all over again to make next week's pay. Your job will always require your attention. Any kind of paid work suffers from the same problem.

The goal is simple, to free yourself from the work>money cycle. The methods of achieving this are many and varied, and depend largely on what you're good at and passionate about. For example, photographers can sell their photographs on stock photography websites. Musicians can sell their compositions on stock music websites. Those who are good with computers can create a vast array of content for the multimedia thirsty 21st century. Programmers can create games or programs. The product doesn't matter, so long as you own the rights to it. The idea is simple, if you own content you can license that content to third parties who will sell it on your behalf (for this purpose digital content is favourable to physical products since an unlimited number of copies can be sold).

The next step is to set up a system that takes care of sales automatically, so that you never need attend to it. You might have to do this yourself, or hire someone to do it for you. Fortunately in a lot of cases, there are third parties who sell what you're offering, and are always on the look out for contributors. Such companies will take care of the website, advertising, administration, and paying you, leaving you to worry only about supplying them content and spending (or saving) your royalties.

Such websites include dreamstime.com and istockphoto.com for photography; revostock.com for stock movies and music; constant-content.com and triond.com for writers (not to mention the endless possibilities open to fiction writers). 3d02.com and 3dexport.com are where the tech savvy can sell 3D digital objects. For those who yearn for a serious challenge garagegames.com is worth checking out with a platform allowing amateurs to create their own computer games (and casual games are very popular these days).

So to put it simply, you're looking to switch from being an employee to a content owner. Of course, none of this will help you get rich overnight. Getting a loan and starting a business would surely be faster, but that I'm afraid is outside the scope of this article.

Be prepared to make very little. If the kind of residual income mentioned in this article was easy to come by, then lets face it, no one would be working. A simplified rule is; the more content you have, then the more income you can get out of it all. Through dedication and hard work having content will pay off in the long term, but first aim for realistic targets.

Your first target is to make two dollars per day. “Two dollars per day!!” you surely exclaim. Yes – don't give up your day job quite yet – but aim for that. Once you reach it consider yourself fortunate because half the world's population – 3 billion people – live on less than two dollars per day. If you're making that from residual income then you're doing well. If you're able to set up a system that makes two dollars a day then there's no reason why you can't reach ten dollars a day, or twenty dollars a day (and so on). Now you can see where this is going...

Second target: pick a bill (rent, electricity, phone) and aim to get your residual income to the stage where it covers your bill. Once that's covered, move onto the next bill. Repeat until all your bills are covered.

Third target: savings. Start saving some of your residual income, so that interest can add value to it. The savings will also play an important role later in smoothing out the ups and downs of the residual income.

Fourth target: diversify. Once you have a residual income, the last stage is to diversify. Only by having a number of separate sources do you ensure against disaster. Any one source of income could dry up at any time. Diversification is key. Once you reach this stage, then you should also have plenty spare money to reinvest back into making more money.

By working through this list, someday you'll likely find that you have the financial freedom to pursue your own projects and your own agenda. By freeing yourself of the work>money cycle you are leaving yourself open to a vast array of possibilities that would otherwise have passed you by (because you were busy making someone else rich). It's not a get rich quick scheme, but it has its merits. Not all of us are in the right place at the right time, to spot a niche, to invent a winning product, or invest in the next hot stock... but we can all invest time to create content, in whatever shape or form it takes, and subsequently enjoy the benefits that residual income brings.

Why is Triond So Powerful?

Power comes from organization, just like an army. Triond is very organized, those nerds know how to run their business and they know how to make our content rank very high on search engines.

Triond uses In-House Advertisements

Unlike other networks the revenue potential is higher. Other networks rely only on third party monetization programs which cuts the revenue 50% at least.

Triond business is information

What makes people read the news everyday? Why do people spend so much money on magazines? What makes people go to Google every single day? They want information. They want content. They want more information power. Triond by selecting the best content ensures the end user will always have access to the best and only the best.

Triond knows how to do SEO properly

Some of your pages rank on Google and Yahoo on the first results. How can they do that? One of my pages is in the very first results competing against more than 4 million other pages on Yahoo and more than 800k pages on Google. It looks like magic.

Triond knows that categories are very important

Triond has one site for business, another for health, another for games and so on, so the user has access only to the content he wants without having other undesirable subjects around. If he likes business, he will only see business content. End of the story.

Triond knows the power of team work

Let's be honest, Triond is the only place where you can make friends, publish content, any kind of content and at the same time making insane dollars. The comunity is very suportive and the comment section helps everyone improving their content.

All the tough work is done manually

Unlike other networks that publish everything even if it's junk, Triond scans every character that is about to go live. This way there is no chance of getting lower search engine ranks because of one low quality content page. This particular feature is the best one on my opition. Knowing that my work will be reviewed by a professional gives me much more confidence.

You have access to a lot of information on how to improve your earnings

Triond is great enough to build some articles about how to use Email and Social Networks to increase the number of page views our content will get. Sure this is good for them too but they are the only network that does this.

Triond pays always of time with no problem or delay

How many times you get an email from other networks saying they are experiencing trouble with the systems, they are doing everything they can to transfer the money as soon as possible, bla bla bla, but in the end you end with empty pockets. Triond is king in this particular feature.

As you can see, all these features combined are the secret to be successful in an insane online content competition. You need to be the best of you want to make to the first results and get insane traffic. Triond is the best!

Guaranteed Long-Term Traffic for Articles, Blogs and Websites

Article writing is hard work and sometimes excellent pieces of work full of useful and interesting content get few readers. You might spend hours writing and only a handful of people see your work.

Most writers already know about social bookmarking and adding their work to search engines but this is often not enough. Have you ever thought about article writing to give long term exposure to you articles?

This sounds totally crazy but building links to your articles, websites, or blogs, will give you long term readers from many different parts of the internet.

It's a very simple process. You write article for sites that provide free content for ezines and other kinds of website. Your article, which you provide free of charge, is offered to ezine owners all over the internet. In return for permission to publish your article they undertake to include your contact details (if you wish) and a back link to your article, or website.

To make it simple to understand how it works let me explain how it works for me. First of all I write an article for Triond, or for my own website, and then I write articles that link to the same theme. Don't make the mistake of thinking that these are linking articles with just a few words altered, because they are not. If you do this ezine owners won't publish your articles, even for free. You need to think about what you have already written and write a couple of similar articles which sound very different but contain linked information.

When you have written these, and it shouldn't take long because you have already done the research for the main article and it's fresh in your head, add you article URL to the bottom. Make sure that proof read and spell check carefully.

Write yourself a little bit of blurb all about you and your writing. Keep it to a couple of sentences. This will be your author resource write up (you will need this later).

Next, go to one or two of the free article sites listed here.

Join up to these sites and upload you articles (only use the ones you wrote to link to your main article.) This is where your author resource box comes in. You will need to paste the 'blurb' that you wrote about yourself into the box provided after you upload your article.

Each one of these gives you one permanent link to your article/website.

The rest is a matter of mathematics. An ezine owner who may have thousands of readers publishes your article (with your link) and because your article is interesting, they want to click on your link and read more about the subject. Other ezine, blog and site owners want to publish your material and you end up with hundreds of links (hopefully) which are followed by thousands of new readers.

This is not easy. It is time consuming but it provides long term traffic that will continue to come for years. It's not just a way of getting thousands of hits now and getting no more. If you utilise this method you will benefit in the long term. This will add to your earnings each and every month.

Take one article at a time and do this with it and slowly but surely see your reads increase.

Look Here for Public Domains

Believe it or not, there’s actually some method to the search madness when looking for public domain materials to use in your business. The search engines have a hard time trying to organize the information precisely because the Internet is so decentralized and vast. In this scenario, the expert searcher does not rely on Google; he relies on specific search strategies.

The debate however, rages on about where to find public domain works: On the Internet or in the real world, sifting through libraries and stores holding old books? The answer, of course, is two-pronged: You can use both avenues to supplement your research, find a public domain title via the Internet and acquire through a real-world search. Alternatively, you can also download some public domain works from the Internet, and despite what people might tell you, finding public domain works in bookstores and libraries is quite easy.

In searching for public domain material you can use:

The Search Engines

A search engine can only point you to the general direction of public domain repositories, and as such should only be used if you don’t have any previous leads on a market.

Niche Directories

This is a little better, as directories allow you to find niche-specific information. The only problem here is that some directories may not have the same breadth of information as the search engine might have, and as such you may miss out on a lot of decent public domain works.

Government Websites

If you are looking to use government publications as your target public domain resource, then the Internet is your haven. Most, if not all, government publications find their way online and very quickly, as well. This is excellent news for anyone wishing to use such information as content for their website, or as part of their services.

Online Libraries

This is where it starts to get interesting, while most online libraries will consist of recent to moderately old books, you can find many fantastic public domain resources here. The best part is that many local libraries have started creating online portals, and you can search in your local library before actually heading over.

If that is not the case, the best you can do is to find the relevant public domain work and once you have a title and author, search for it online .

Great Ideas for Using Public Works and Profiting From It

Re-publish public domain content . A lot of the information is relevant today. Books on recipes, public speaking, hobbies and learning languages all contain knowledge that is applicable to our time (50 or 60 years don’t change the way you bake a cake, for example). All you need to do is to find the relevant public domain work, re- package it according to your needs and then create a business model around it.

Use Public Domain as a source of content for your website. Whether you want to start a membership website or just an informational website that earns money through advertising and affiliate revenue, the important thing is that you won’t have to wait for months to create the content , it’s ready for you to use immediately.

Create a derivative work . Use the public domain work to spawn targeted, niche- relevant products by creating your own product around it.

Change the format of the public domain work , create an audio course for a how-to- manual to increase the ‘perceived value’ of the product so you can make more money off the same information.

Release the product in multiple, complimentary mediums. This is a combination of the above two ideas . You can teach a course using audio CDs, instructional watch- and-learn DVDs and package a learning manual together to make a killer course that is a physical product instead of allowing people to simply download your book. This immediately raises the value of what you’re selling.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. There dozens and dozens of concrete examples of using public domain works within your business, either to supplement your business model or to create a new income stream.

Some people say that because the information in the public domain is limited, there’s no point in going after the ‘public domain riches’. In fact, there has never been a better time to start. What you should concentrate on is to find new ways to market old ideas. How can you do that?

Differentiate your product . Instead of selling old and rare books, work on building a niche for yourself on old philosophical works only. This is a very viable business idea and I’ll tell you how in a little while.

Find new ways to sell an existing product . The usual example given here is to convert an eBook or how-to course into a series of audio tapes or videos. However, you can also take an existing public domain work and split it up into several parts, and sell them separately, a public domain work on poker strategies could be divided into 3 parts , poker games, poker history and poker strategies.

Remember: Create a new product out of an old idea

Free Public Domains are So Profitable

Many public domain works include (nearly) timeless and entirely relevant information on wildly popular ‘interests’ such as making money, self- improvement, writing, playing sports, interpreting dreams, astrology, public speaking, entrepreneurship, recipes and lots more. The information is immediately usable for many public domain works all you need to do is to simply do some minor editing, re-package the knowledge into a medium of your liking (we’ll discuss this in more detail a little later) and then sell it. Of course, you can also produce derivative works, but the power of immediate re-usability is one of the primary reasons many people are attracted to the public domain.

There is an abundance of such information. We’re talking about publications that span over a century, and maybe even more than that when you take into account classic works that were published before copyright law even existed. Use of a particular public domain work by someone else does not mean that you cannot use that same public domain work for your own commercial purpose. In other words, you can use the SAME public domain resources that someone else has used, and restructure them to suit your commercial venture. This is the real strength of the public domain . The information is not a resource that is ‘used up’ over time . In fact as more and more people begin to embrace the ‘free information’ movement (and the open source movement in software development), you will find that the public domain will only increase in size over time.

Public Domain works are in diverse mediums. You have software, books, instruction manuals, photographs, music and even government publications. Any and all of these mediums can be used to generate specific and different types of selling opportunities.

Public Domain works are not restricted in the format they are stored. Thus you can convert a book on interpreting dreams into an audio course, or create a website around a book on public speaking. This is more of a ‘how to profit from public domain works’ feature, but it’s important enough to note here. There are many different reasons that public domain works are profitable. But essentially, the main reason is that they allow you to quickly and inexpensively start an ever ending info product business online with very little effort.

Five Ways to Increase Backlinks, Traffic, and Pagerank

Here is the prerequisite for this article.

What are "backlinks"? Backlinks are links directed to your website. Also known as Inbound links apposed to outbound links. Not only the quality but the number of backlinks are an indication of the popularity or importance of that website. Backlinks are important for SEO because some search engines, especially Google, will give more credit to websites that have a good number of quality backlinks, and consider those websites more relevant than others in their results pages for a search query.

How Do You Get Backlinks and Increase Them?

There are many ways to get backlinks from developing linking partners, posting blogs, posting comments on forums, participating in Internet community websites, writing articles, writing reviews and finding services and people that help with backlinks.

Here are 5 ways to increase backlinks and traffic in a short period of time. Most of these suggestions are not do-it-in-5-minute tasks. Most require time, intelligence, effort and persistence but they work. It is important to use as many different ways to get backlinks as possible. When developing backlinks, first figure out what type of backlink you want? Quality PageRank increasing backlinks or backlinks that bring unique traffic to sites?

5 Ways To Increase Backlinks in 3 Weeks

Post on a Forum

Post on several forums from business, wholesale, marketing to technical forums. You do not need to be a guru on these forums. You might have found answers to some users questions already in the forum and you can direct them to it. No matter what skills you have, you can usually take advantage of several forums. For instance if you are a web developer, your services are required by the people on many forums. If you have book keeping skills then pretty well all industry can benefit from your experience.

If you do a quick search on your local google for business forums, wholesale forums or marketing forums, you should be able to find many. UK Business Forums, The Wholesale forum and The Sales and Marketing Forums are just 3 great sites to start with. Be sure you do not spam. Write your posts, help, suggestions, reviews or articles in a manner so you can link to your resources as often and naturally as possible. Join around 10 forums. Become assets and valued members on 2 to 3 forums and on the others just follow threads and post replies, questions or comments. It will become apparent which forums you will spend more time on... the ones you like.

Be sure to use your signature and post 3 links in it. If you have 500 or 1000 posts on that forum then you will have 1500 or 3000 backlinks to your resources just from your signature file. The nice thing about your signature is that you can change it and link to different resources or content and all those links change. You can charge to put links to other sites in your articles and write your articles around them. Find companies on the Internet and ask them if they will pay you to write articles or reviews about their services and/or products to establish backlinks for them. This will maximize your efforts.

One thing to keep an eye on is where these forums link to and what their PageRank is. Most browser already display PageRank, as well there are many PageRank tools on the Internet, you can Google one if you don't know what I mean, go to Google and search "Online PageRank Tool." Here is a quick, FREE PageRank tool at SEO Peuan.

Forums can bring you large amounts of traffic and provide large amounts of backlinks. Keep an eye on your stats and you might be surprised that some of the forums that you do not spend much time on bring you the most traffic and the ones you spend massive amounts on bring little.

Post On Blogs

You should have your own blog that you post to but you should post comments or questions to other blogs. Blogs you just comment on such as http://gizmodo.com/, http://www.geekalerts.com/, http://www.techpin.com/ to name a few. Some require you to register and some do not. As you know there are many, many blogs remember to keep your eye on their PageRank and who they link to.

Posting comments on blogs can bring in a fair amount of traffic if you are consistent and post brief comments daily. The more you post the more backlinks you can create.

Website Review Sites

Website review sites allow members to join to look at and review sites and have people look at and review their sites, this option is usually available on forums so take advantage of getting your website reviewed on forums too. Here is one website review site you can try called Linkreferral Once again a quick search of Google can help you find many sites to join. Keep an eye on the site's PageRank.

These types of sites require a lot of effort and you do not get a lot of traffic. What you do get is people visiting your site daily and reviewing it with nice happy reviews. This is great for backlinks. If your marketing is on track and your product is relevant you might get customers, members or return visitors.

Traffic Sites

Traffic Sites, Pay to Click, Traffic exchanges and GPT allow members to post links to their sites and display them to other members. When members click the links, the owners of the link pays some form of credit. To get credit you pay $$ or you click other members sites. So, basically all the traffic you get to your site is from another web owner clicking your link to get credit for his site so someone will click his link.

One of the more popular traffic sites is TrafficSwarm which is effective, fast and free. You start getting traffic as soon as your website is authorized which usually is never longer than 24 hours.

There are thousands of these sites out there. The more popular sites can bring in 100 - 200 unique visitors per day EACH and help lower your Alexa traffic ranking. Having a low Alexa ranking (below 100,000) with a decent PageRank (3-4) can be the difference between a successful linking partner campaign and an unsuccessful one. Once again keep an eye on the PageRank and who they link too.

*** Make sure you do not have Google Adsense ads on the pages that you display on these type of sites because Google might ban your account.

Serious Backlinks

There are many 1-way and 2-way linking services available such as TopSites, Webrings, Add-a-link pages, directories, viral linking scripts and reciprocal linking sites. The problems with these are useless backlinks, no traffic and links to "bad neighborhoods" by Google's definition.

Every now and then somebody comes along with a great idea and it works well. One of these great ideas is Zeriouz.

At zeriouz, you can add your websites for free, and without having to add reciprocal backlinks or registration You'll get unlimited quality backlinks. You can also add code to your site to increase the amount of backlinks you have by referring people to submit their sites. Zeriouz can provide hundreds of "text" links back to your website in "weeks" and even thousands thereafter.

You will be absolutely amazed by the simplicity and effectiveness of the zeriouz network system. zeriouz will send you thousands of visitors, just for placing some free code on your website which contains five links and a referral ID.

The Problem with Comment Boxes

In my opinion, there is nothing sadder than people who make arguments over an article they don't agree with, or a You Tube video that someone has said something about. We have all witnessed this, some may even have participated in it, and in any case, it degrades society as a whole. Furthermore, it is also somewhat sad that people not only have the time to read an article or watch a video, then complain about it. To me, it seems that these commentors think the internet should have quality stamped all over it, yet we all know such a thing will never happen

People think they can make a critical argument about an article or movie, but instead they turn to name-calling and simply saying the other personal is wrong. Credibility is spoiled by personally attacking the person one comments against. The worst part of all this is that when a well-grounded person witnesses extreme comments, they become so frustrated by the other persons ignorance and foolhardiness that they are compelled to comment in return.

Are all these comments necessary? I would say no. In fact, I would go so far to say the “leave a comment” box at the bottom of most sites shouldn't even be around. That little empty box is like a lure to some of the most disgraceful people who use the internet. Now, it is important to note that I don't disagree with comment boxes because I have received bad comments (which I have), nor do I disagree with them because uninformed people attempt to make arguments. I believe that the internet may one day be taken seriously as a source of information, and so long as the comment box remains, this will not happen.

It is always good to receive people's feedback on an article or video, especially if it is useful in that it helps the author improve in their works. However, I doubt very much that anyone can recall a comment that was actually constructive. Instead commentors criticize the author, or other commentors. This makes the internet seem less like a forum of ideas and development, and more like an arena in which insults, profanity and attacks on individuals are the only arguments that can ever be made. No matter how successful an argument may be, every person will always end it with an insult or curse word, which instantly removes any value the argument had.

I know the comment box will never go away, and it is even less likely that angry and lazy commentors will leave as well. So what is there to be done? I suggest responsibility. I believe the internet, and the people who use it, can benefit from comments, but only if they are well thought out, and well grounded. This means that everyone must restrain from their desire to call someone a “retarded dickhead ball-licker”, and instead focus their problems with the article or movie in question. There is never any ground to gain when the author is attacked. Such actions only inspire them to continue what they do in order to spite angry commentors. However, if one can point out the flaws in that author's argument, not only may the author benefit, but also the viewers of one's comments.

So please, comment responsibly.

Uncle Frank’s Spotlight: Yearblook.com Review

Yearblook is not the typical run-of-the-mill social bookmarking network. No in fact, this site offers its members an attractive incentive to participate in their program.

As a writer, I routinely use social bookmarking networks to promote the articles and reviews that I write. Recently, I learned about and joined a relatively new social bookmarking network called Yearblook that not only allows its members to bookmark their favorite blogs from around the net and in addition win money for the most popular bookmarks that they submit to the network.

Yearblook is going to publish a book that is based on the most popular blogs submitted to Yearblook. The blog that receives the most number of votes during a 24 hour day will be published in the book that Yearblook is going to publish, so that the blogs will endure time itself in the real offline world. Yearblook claims that they will reward the most popular blog bookmark with publication in their book, one winning blog for each of the 365 days of the year.

Upon my first visit to Yearblook, I noticed the clean appearance of the website's homepage. It originally reminded me of another social bookmarking site called DropJack because of the color scheme and page layout. There was not any cluttered pages or hard to find navigation tabs to hinder the experience.

The registration process only requires a user name, current email address and a password. Really, it only takes a couple of minutes to signup for a free Yearblook user account.

Like with most other social bookmarking sites, Yearblook allots their members space to add a personal profile page and other tools to manage the member's own activities when using Yearblook.

Yearblook members can participate in a monthly contest where Yearblook rewards one Yearblook member and one blog writer a cash reward based on the most popular blog submission for the month. The winning Yearblook member will be rewarded a $50.00 cash prize and the winning blog author will receive a $50.00 cash prize for the blog that receives the most number of votes during the month.

I have not been a member of Yearblook for a very long, but so far I have not experienced any major problems with the submission process or using any of the member tools that are provided to all members. Although, Yearblook does warn that there could be some bugs to flush out of the system, because of its new status.

Yearblook is currently not near as big or popular as other such social bookmarking networks online, but that should not be a reason not to give it a try. All websites and new businesses had to start small, before they got where they are today. These smaller networks gives members the opportunity to share their ideas with the webmaster(s), so to build a better network that everyone will enjoy for years to come.
