Make Your Own Website

Are you interested in internet? Then you should try to make a new website your self. In the first time web designing is very hard. But if we know some languages and techniques, we can make our own websites. What are the requirements before we start to build a new website? Read below.

Suggest a service that makes a lot of money into your pocket and visitor's pocket. (Like free services)

Choose a domain that most suitable for that service. You can't change a domain in the time you like. So you must select a good domain name. What are the specifications of a good domain name? Are you confused? This is simple. You must choose domain name as your site name. So that chooses a small, quality, simple, meaningful, cool domain name. You can register for a domain at any hosting service provider. Make sure they are good hosting service providers. You can choose IXWebhosting, One.com …etc…

Before taking a hosting service. You should compare that with other hosting providers. So you can save a lot of money. Take web space as much you want. Band width is also important. Select an unlimited bandwidth enabled hosting service.

A good domain name should only contain about 6 characters. So that chooses a small domain name as possible. That will enable the users to remember your website. If you choose a site like www.mywebsitefromusaukandaustralia.com. Then the users can't remember your website. So they will not visit your site again.

After the hosting service choosing. You want to design a site. The languages you want to use are, depending the languages that support your hosting service provider. Best languages are PHP, ASP, JAVA, ASP.NET, and COLDFUSION…

Just consult your hosting provider for more information. If you don't know how you can use that languages just visit w3school.com for simple tutorials.

Create a design you like. You can use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe image ready, Macromedia flash, etc…

Then start to arrange the details into a webpage

Home page is very important. You should want to give more importance for making a home page. If home page is very bore then the visitors didn't visit your site back.

Flash animations are not important for a website. More images will decrease your rankings in Google, Yahoo, and Live… You can use important keywords more than twice in home page. That will increase your ranking with Google, Yahoo, and Live…

Macromedia Dream weaver is the best software for designing a site. I think that all web designers are using Dream weaver. But if you are professional web 2.0 designer you only want notepad or k-edit to design a site.

There are so many freelance designers. But they can't make good sites because they don't know how to know the customer.

Choose PayPal as the payment system. Also you can add credit cards for attracting more customers.

Create Your Own Product with Private Label Rights

If you are interested in Niche and Internet Marketing, you have probably already heard of the term "Private Label Rights". Private Label Rights products or "PLR", can take the form of articles, e-books and graphics. When you purchase a Private Label Rights product, in the case of e-books you will be given the raw text document, usually in Word format. In the case of articles, you will usually have the work in .txt format or note-pad. Graphics will be in PSD format for Adobe Photoshop which means that the "layers" will be intact for you to be able to change them. So what does all of this mean to you, the buyer? Putting it simply, by owning Private Label Rights products, you have within your means, your own product and a way of making money on the Internet in your own right.

Acquiring Private Label Rights products means that you are able to change the articles, put your name to them and make them your own. You are able to change the contents of the e-book and the graphics and also put your name to them and call them your own. In other words, owning Private Label Rights products means that all of the research has been done for you, cutting down your time of producing your own product. There are a few things that you should consider when using Private Label Rights content for creating your own product and these are as follows.

First and foremost, you should read the rules that are included within your product. This sets out clearly what you can and cannot do and you should adhere to this as it is a legal obligation on your part. Unrestricted Private Label Rights products are the best type to have as you may do with them as you please and are therefore an excellent basis for creating your own product.

Secondly, by using unrestricted Private Label Rights products, you may use for example, three or four related e-books, such as healthy eating, exercise and losing weight, place them together and rewrite them to produce a brand new product. You have probably heard time and time again that it is best to rewrite Private Label content and the reason for this is because you need to make the content your own. By re-writing the content in your own words, you will make it sound like you have written it, thereby placing within it your own "personality", thoughts and ideas. This makes the content unique to you.

You will also need to change the graphics of your content so that it looks completely different and you may utilize Private Label graphics for this or you could create your own if you are adept in doing so.

Creating your own product from Private Label Rights will take time and some of your hard earned cash however, to get ahead in Niche and Internet Marketing, having your own product is the way to go.

Although as I have said creating your own product will take time, if you do not take action now, you will be in the same situation in three months time as you are today.

SEO for Beginners

This post is aimed at a pretty specific audience...just thought I'd make that clear from "go." This topic will be of value to website owners, creators, marketers and researchers. Our topic will be SEO of Search Engine Optimization. Let's start at the beginning. How about a definition.

Search Engine Marketing are terms used to describe the way in which a site is built, from myriad angles, and how the way a site is put together dramatically affects were it lands in a search engine's results pages. Search engine results pages are the pages that come up when you type in a keyword, or set of keywords, in any search engine and click the "search" button. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to define this as well...Search Engines are programs that quickly search and index all the sites networked through the internet. Examples of the biggest search engines would be Google, Yahoo, MSN and Alta Vista.

You may be thinking thus far, "well, this is all fabulous, but why is it important." It's very simple, really. Everyone who has a website wants it to be seen, whether it's because you're an organization trying to build the public's awareness of what you do, or you're a site that sell products and services. Without people seeing your site, your site does you very little good. So, we're going to talk about how to get your site seen by as many people as possible! Sound good?

Alright, well the first place to start is to discuss a little bit about how search engines index pages. You've probably noticed while performing searches on Google or Yahoo that when you type in a particular keyword (or set of keywords) the same sites tend to appear, over and over, on the search results pages. Being on the first page of search results has very plain significance. It basically means that the search engine likes those sites, a lot. You definitely want search engines to like you, because it's a pretty simple equation: higher page rank=more traffic=great returns for you! Unless you're in business to lose money or turn people off, you fall into those who benefit greatly from that equation (you also probably aren't actually a business, just an FYI ;-)). But, there are some very specific things that every site must master to have search engines like them. Though, there is no perfect formula for search engine success, I can run through some basic things that will definitely help you get more traffic. So, here we go...

Let's start on the foundation. The foundation of any and every site is the HTML, or Hyper Text Markup Language. HTML is the standard language that's read by search engines and allows you to link any text or media, whatsoever, to any other text or media content, anywhere on the web. So, it's vitally important to have your HTML soundly written. Some of the basics of good HTML are: good keyword meta-tags, appealing, user and eye-friendly page layout and excellent copy (site text), with a proper keyword density, which is usually approximately 3-5%. HTML is vital, but it's not the whole story. Not nearly.

Secondly, your site must have attractive graphics, natural eye movement conducive flow, and text, A LOT of text. Search engines happen to love sites that are loaded with information. But, it's important for you to organize that information well, because you can just put 50,000 words of text on your website's homepage and expect a search engine to be kind to you. No, you must have good text content throughout all of the site, and (which is the third necessity) it must be very easy to navigate from the homepage to any other content within the site quickly and easily. Search engines love article postings, blogs and link outs to other, good and relevant content. A good site map, in this case is vital. It should be logical, intuitive and put the user at ease, at all times. You never want a user (or search engine) to be somewhere on your site and not know how to get back to the homepage or head somewhere else they want go within the site.

...Side note. As you may be beginning to see, each of the elements that go into a good SEO strategy are HUGE subjects unto themselves. But, we're just giving a survey here...

Anyway, let's get back to it. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you need a good linking strategy. I'm going to give you some basics here as to what that means, and how you can achieve it. Cool? Alright, here it goes. Allow me to share what I've learned in 3 categories.

First of all, post as much as you can and often as you can to blogs, forums, etc. These blogs and forums will let you include your URL, which means every one you finish gains you an incoming link. This is somewhat time consuming, but very effective.

Secondly, and perhaps the most obvious, is to ask the top sites in your niche if they'd be willing to exchange links with you...which you can usually do via their "Contact Us" page. This benefits you in two distinct ways: first, you're again gaining the incoming links, but secondly...those top sites are sites liked by Search Engines, meaning they've done a lot of things right, and having a link from them looks very good to a SE.

Third and Finally, Post articles on any topic about which you have knowledge. The best place to do this are ezine directories. These directories will generally accept a decent article, and there are some huge benefits here. First, you can post MULTIPLE articles to the same ezine. Secondly, each time you post an article, you get a chance to include your URL (that's right...another incoming link). And thirdly, other ezine readers can take your article, if the like it and put it on their site...and...you guessed, your link goes with them as well. And, that about does it.

So, I very much hope you've found this helpful and informative and that as you learn more about each of these ingredients for good SEO you'll find great success!

10 Useful Internet Tools to Customize Your MySpace Page

Customizing MySpace profile pages is a very popular pastime for millions of MySpace members and leaves a good first impression on all visitors. Add videos, music, games, cool layouts, backgrounds, and much more fast and easy, now.

So, who hasn't ever heard of MySpace by now? The last time I checked, there were over 112 million members interacting on the extremely popular social network owned by the leading search engine company Google. Not that's more cybercitizens than most countries and many nations combined. Now that is a huge cyberstate of differing personalities as proudly displayed throughout the millions and millions of MySpace member profile pages on the world's largest social network.

MySpace kindly resembles “King Arthur's Round Table”, because no matter who you are every new member starts out with a MySpace default profile page void of any personality and flare. In the beginning, everyone starts out equally and after that, it's up to the new member to creatively transform his or her profile page into something personal to him or her.

Since some members are more computer savvy or process a higher degree of creativity, many MySpace profile pages reflects the talent and hard work of these members. It is always entertaining to visit a profile page that employs fantastic background art and graphics. Coupled with interesting videos and music maybe followed with photos of people, places or things that is alien to other visiting members. All of this work translates into a very cool MySpace profile page.

The following list of websites are dedicated to provide quality and creative Internet tools and widgets to help make your MySpace profile page burst with personality and flare that will leave a good first impression on all who visit your MySpace profile page.
Userbars

Userbars have become one of the most widely used graphics on the web. They are used in the signature block within a forum. Normally they are used to show interests, hobbies, software preferences, and site affiliations. I often find myself creating mine to show sites I create or am an active member of.

Here are some of many examples I have created.

Talk Veteran Forum :

Nbc Heroes fan:

Specifications:

Although there are no standards about the looks or sizes of the userbars, the following are a few unwritten rules most designers stick to:

Width = 350 pixels

Height = 19 pixels (some designers prefer 20 pixels)

Font = Visitor TT1 (BRK), found here

A striped pattern at 45º (lately I have noticed variations with a horizontal pattern)

PNG format (GIF for animated bars)

Software:

Any graphics design software can be used to make these, even MS Paint. I personally use The GIMP. It is a very powerful Open Source program (that means is free). It can be found at gimp.org.

I hope you enjoy making bars, but if you need help, then come look for me at my forum.

Don't Annoy Visitors to your Website

It seems that everyone has a website these days. Some for fun, some provide information and some are used to earn money. Regardless of its purpose, the point is that anyone can build a website. However, building a good website seems to be another story. Too many common mistakes are made when constructing a website and these mistakes go far to dissuade frequent visitors.

Pop-ups

I cannot think of anything more annoying than having a pop-up (especially a sneaky one that is not easily closed) right in the middle of something I am trying to read. Anyways, a pop-up can be counterproductive to your website as it may simply lead a visitor to a new website.

Long web pages

Avoid using a long, continuous page to relay information. Instead, use links and short pages. A long page gets tiring and overwhelming whereas links to shorter pages allow for easier navigation to a specific topic or sub-topic. Long pages also tend to make the site look amateurish – like you did not know how to create a new page.

Too many graphics

Graphics are nice when appropriately used. But excessive graphics tend to slow down the loading of the page and this annoys people. Stick to simple, related graphics.

Under construction links

Avoid putting in links to pages that remain under construction. If you have not finished a page, leave the link out until that page is ready to be published. It’s annoying and leaves the visitor feeling the site is incomplete – they are less likely to return.

Plug-ins

People get concerned when they are asked to download a plug-in to install before they can view your site. The extra work is annoying and, if the plug-in involves a program that is obscure, chances are they will pass by your site and onto the next.

Lack of Content

Having minimal content not only hinders the ability of search engines to find your site, thereby reducing your hits but also annoys visitors who view your site in hopes for a clear idea of what the purpose of the site is. Content based sites always seem to rank high in search engines too.

Music

Automatic music is generally annoying because it is not expected. So someone surfing the web at work may not want the rest of the office to know what they are doing – music or loud sounds is a sure giveaway. Anyways, web surfing is often done while working or listening to music already – interfering with that is aggravating.

By turning your head to these things when designing (or redesigning) your site, you can help keep your visitors happy and returning for those much coveted hits!
