Anytime you ever need to get emails that require verification, you simply type whatever@mailinator.com, then proceed to the website and check the fake email account you sent it too! You don't have to set Mailinator up and they have other email servers you can send the fakies too.

Disposable email is great so websites and spammers won't have your real email. Email verification just got easier.

EmailFuture.com

Email Future is a web client in which you can write an email to yourself or others to be delivered on a future date. You pick the date and time, up to 25 years from now! Email reminder for the meeting next week? Surprising someone? Birthday greetings? Pretending to be at the office while on vacation? Reminding yourself of that lifelong to-do list you wrote ten years prior? The possibilities are endless.

Gmail

The best free email hands down. Gmail offers you seven gigabytes of online email storage. You never delete emails, you just archive them for later, then easily search their content or sender to pull up emails from years ago. Gmail is also easily integrated with many other Google features such as calendars and notes. Oh did I mention, you can import your current contact list into Gmail to save time and ease the transition?

GetNetWise

Get Net Wise is a great email masking service for when you post your email on the internet in blogs, message boards or forums. Get Net Wise will allow you to input your email, then it generates a code for you to put in the place of your email next time you post. What this does is mask your email from spam crawler bots that walk the internet looking for their next spam victims.

To the human eye, the email looks normal, but isn't formatted the way that the spammers hunt for and harvest emails. Just one more utility to fight back the piling spam.

V! Free Email

This websites offers email addresses @v.gg.com. The main draw of this website is for those of you obsessed with a short email address. You can't find many one letter domain names, especially hosting email. Wouldn't recommend for those with heavy volume of email because they offer only 25mb of storage space.

Zookoda

Zookoda is a great resource for all you bloggers, tweeters, diggers, stumblers and writers! Zookoda is a FREE resource to send out mass emails weekly, monthly or whenever.

A great way to boost traffic and popularity is by sending out newsletter. Zookoda offers webmaster like tools and resources, allowing bloggers to view subscription list, click reports and more.

Esnailer

eSnailer is one of the most bizarre websites I've run across. The site lets you write out a message and input a real mailing address and eSnailer will send them a real envelope with your message enclosed. For Free.

10 Minute Mail

10 minute mail is a disposable email address that is great for sending any sort of verification email. By having an email address that expires, you can "verify" an email address and sign up for services without the worry spam building up in your mailbox.

A great thing about 10 Minute Mail is that the email server changes once a month so webmaster's who catch on to the server will be ousted soon enough.

Jott

Jott is a phenomenal resource for the busy blogger and active liver. Jott allows you to call a number, speak clearly, and Jott will transcribe it. Yes, Jott will "listen" then either email the transcription, text it or list it. You can set up an account and manage all these memos. Best of all, it's all free!

Jott is great if you're not around your computer or don't feel like fooling with it, just call the number and leave yourself a memo, to be emailed to you instantly.

SpyPig

SpyPig is a great utility for email, allowing you to know if the email you sent was opened by the recipient. You type your email and your recipients email into a web form and receive a coded "blank image" which can track if the email was opened.

Think of the applications. Love letter, job interview request, money request. You'll know if your email was read, and act from there. Its as simple as attaching a small image to your email and waiting to see if they've read it or not.

Spambox.us

Spambox is a temporary email generator, sort of like Mailinator or 10 minute mail. The difference is that Spambox sets up a temporary email specifically designed to forward to your real email. You can set the expiration of the email account, retrieve the information you need then ignore the email account, as it will soon expire. Take that Spammers!

Privnote

Private Note allows you to write a message and receive a web url with a temporary web page with your message. Once the message is viewed, it can never be seen again, so make sure you copy the message. Using it, you can get a James Bond secret agent feeling. Or just use it for one time viewing privacy.

FuzzMail

FuzzMail is an internet email utility in which you begin writing an email to someone, and FuzzMail records every pause, backspace, typo and edit you make. FuzzMail adds a personal touch to the impersonal side of email. The days of writing letters are long gone, and emails reign king, chock full of perfect punctuation and formatting written in Times New Roman. FuzzMail changes all of this. Your viewer can "watch" you write the email.

StopForwarding.Us

Many times your friends and family begin sending you junk mail. In fact sometimes between them all you end up with more "family spam" than advertising spam. Stop Forwarding will send a generic email with an anonymous sender and generic anti spam, friendly message, kindly asking the person to stop sending so much junk.

Flowers 2 Mail

Flowers 2 Mail is a great flash application in which you can design a floral bouquet to be emailed, along with a card. You can arrange the flowers and pick colors, then write a personal message and send it.

Some people might say “Nothing is Free!” and “There's always hidden costs!” but after you've read the following, you'll realize just how wrong these statements are.

Grooveshark

Grooveshark is a great music sharing community which is completely legal. The interface is really easy to use and is possibly even better than itunes!

There is two main websites. Grooveshark and Grooveshark Lite. Grooveshark Lite is a smaller version of Grooveshark which you don't have to sign up and can listen to any track for free online.

Grooveshark is the full version which you do have to sign up (for free obviously) for and you can also listen to any track for free. Additionally, you can share music, add friends, download music and lots more. You do have to pay for downloading music but as I'll explain in a second, it's still free. How it works is as follows. You download a small free program called Sharkbyte which searches for music on your own computer. It then adds this to the database and any time someone buys that track you get 50% of the cost. Grooveshark takes the other 50% for themselves and pays the artist or record company some money. The 50% that you get is added to your account and you can use this as credit towards downloading songs. Yes, I know it sounds complicated but all that matters is that get to listen and download the music you want for free without the guilty feeling that you're depriving the artist of some money.

Drop.io

Drop.io is a really simple and useful tool for file sharing. It's just like having a password protected 100mb (or more if you upgrade) memory stick everywhere with you (if you have internet access). All you do is upload your chosen files (any format) onto the site then go onto the other computer, go to www.drop.io/ (your chosen name) and effectively download the file.

You can make as many “drop.io s” as you want so I suppose its more like having unlimited 100mb memory sticks with you! There are other features like transferring files between drop.io's and emailing files to your drop.io.

Ever really wanted to sign up to a website but don't really trust them with your precious email address in fear of spam. Yes, we all have so therefore we all need this great tool!

Basically, you click a button, get a free 15 minute temporary email address which you can receive a confirmation email etc. with and have no worries about spam because it a few minutes the email won't exist!

So go on, sign up to all the untrustworthy sites you want with your trustworthy friend, GuerrillaMail!

Only2Clicks

Find that there's really only a few websites that you go on all the time? Find that you always seem to be wasting time scrolling through your favourites list or typing in addresses when you could be surfing that website?

Only2Clicks to the rescue!

Only2Clicks is another of those simple but incredibly useful websites. It has all your “use all the time” websites on one page, only a click away. It has automatic thumbnails, different skins, different tabs…the lot. That's really all there is to it.

Triond

Enjoy writing stories etc, taking pictures, filming videos and maybe making one or two songs just for fun? Well, with Triond you could do all that and get paid for it! Sound good? Read on.

Triond uses a “Pay Per View” system on articles, photos, videos and music that you upload. Basically, they put your content on one of their websites which have adverts and pay you a tiny amount of money for every view. This will add up over time and every month they pay you either via paypal or a check through the post (paypal is faster and more secure so I advise it).

You can upload as much as you like and the more you upload the more you get paid. It may seem a measly amount at first but stick at it and you'll be making worthwhile amounts of money before you know it.

You Convert It

With music, image and video files being in all sorts different formats it's hard to find converting software that actually does what it says, doesn't have hidden costs, puts viruses on your computer or every time you use it, it annoys you with pop ups asking you to upgrade.

You Convert It can convert anything. I mean almost literally. It can convert images, video, music weights, lengths time, distance…I could go on forever.

You just type in your e-mail address, select the file you want converted and what you want it to be converted into and they e-mail the converted file to you once it's finished. It's efficient, easy to use and of course…free.

My Game Builder

Everyone has at some point dreamt of making their own game. Doing anything they want; feature themselves in the game; set it in their own house and, and, and…then realize how difficult it is to actually do. Unless you have programming skills and expensive software which most people don't have, then making your own game is well…impossible. That was until my game builder came along.

It allows complete beginners to "build games" as the name suggests. You draw "tiles" of a variety of sizes which will represent objects and characters in the game. You draw the characters and enemies from different angles so when they are walking they look in different directions.

Simple easy to understand tutorials teach you the basics and more features are unlocked as you become more experienced.

There is also a sort of "online community" of game builders in which you can view and play other people's games and top games are picked every week or so which encourages you to be creative.

Experts may be obviously be disappointed but for complete novices, My Game Builder is a simple, easy to use, fairly powerful tool which will kill a few hours and perhaps start off your career as a game programmer!

Buttonator

Buttonator is a great little tool which generates good looking buttons for your website. You just configure the easy to use settings then click the “show code” button to get a code which you can copy and paste onto your website. Alternatively you can download the button and add it to your website that way.

Before I go I must remind you that the best free "I like it button" is just centimetres away from your mouse. Simply move your cursor over to it (scroll down and it's at the bottom left of your screen) and click it and guess what! The number goes up! Isn't it amazing!

   Although this website is not the best looking website that I have ever seen, it does offer some of the most interesting paranormal subjects in the field of the paranormal. Learn about the tools of the trade of paranormal investigation or study up on one of the most haunted places in the United States “Waverly Hills Sanatorium” or sit-down and listen to the evps offered here on this site. There is quite a bit of useful information to explore and more entertaining categories to choose from on this website.

10. Realhunts

    
    
    Here is another excellent source for gathering information about haunted houses and places in a city or town near where you live. This is a partly serious place to find valuable information about new places to ghost hunt and partly a less serious website to visit when in the mood to read a good ghost story. There is plenty to do and discover on your visit to Real Haunted Houses that bookmarking this website is worth the effort. (Popup Alert, turn your popup blocker ON).

Understanding Social Bookmarking Services So You Too Can Build A Successful Internet Marketing Network

For me, poetry does not do well on this site, but for some poets, StumbleUpon is the best place to win over new fans of poetry.

2. Digg

   The biggest and most active bookmarking community on the Internet with millions of page views and tens of thousands of new Internet content being shared 24/7 amongst the millions of members. This is the best place to bookmark more serious topics and subjects for the community to read, vote and leave comments on.

3. Shoutwire

   If political and religious websites, photos, articles and topics are your type of thing, then I have found that this is the best social bookmarking community for this sort of thing. Like with other social bookmarking websites this community enjoys other types of bookmarks besides political and religious subjects. You can submit just about any type of bookmark, but the two already mentioned above are the best performing on this site.

4. Faves

   This is the best social bookmarking community to use, so to learn how to use a social bookmarking service. The community is smaller and moves at a slower pace than the other social bookmarking communities that we have already discussed, but is still a useful community to be part of.
   
   Light and humorous articles, websites, blogs and photos rule the day at Faves. Poetry does not do so well here.

5. Slashdot

   This is an excellent social bookmarking community that is heavily involved in anything tech or computers. There are a whole bunch of intelligent nerds and geeks that get their tech news from Slashdot and tech; computer and Internet blogs, websites and articles can do very well here in this community.

Once you have joined a social bookmarking community, then the next thing that you need to focus on is your personal profile page.

Step Two: Read The Terms and Conditions

Be sure to read carefully the Terms and Conditions and any rules that the social bookmarking service has made available to its community members. You do not want to break the rules and risk being banned from using the site and/or service. I know, none of us enjoys reading all of the legal stuff that these websites have for us to read, but it is necessary, so that we don't lose the right to use the service.

Step Three: Creating A Personal Profile Page

Nearly all social bookmarking services allow their members to create and build their own person profile page, so that their members have the chance to introduce themselves to the rest of the social bookmarking community in which they now belong to. With this in mind, it is extremely important to take your time and do this right, because this is your first chance to make a lasting good first impression on those visitors who have chose to visit your profile page.

It is not important to give your real name or location, but it is important to divulge a bit of personal information like your favorite hobbies, books, music and other pieces of personal information such as these things. One of the best ways to make friends in social networks is to invite anyone to be your friend that has left positive comments on any of your bookmarks that you have added and introduced to the social network(s) that you belong to. Just don't get disappointed if not all of the people that you have invited to be your friend choose to make you their friend in return. Some members of these social bookmarking communities are not interested in making friends, because they are rather using these bookmarking services to replace the traditional search engines, so to discover new and exciting places to visit on the Internet.

Another good way to make quality friends (the kind of friends that will be most likely to visit the articles, websites, videos, games and movies that you discover and bookmark) is to invite any member in the community that routinely bookmarks subjects and topics that are of interest to you. Just remember, not everyone will be interested in making friends, so invite as many members as you are able to, to be your friend. Especially, invite any member who is interested in the same things that you are interested in or write or blog about on the Internet.

Step Seven: Get Personal With Your Friends

It is one thing to invite and make new friends, but it is something else entirely to make new friends with a personal touch. After you have made a few new friends make sure to send each of them a private message, just to welcome them into your friend's network. This type of personal touch makes your new friends feel special and leaves a good impression on them about you.

Step Eight: It's Bookmarking Time!

Now, that you have joined a social bookmarking community, setup your personal profile page, explored your environment and made a few new friends, it is time to start bookmarking your favorite websites, blogs, articles, videos, music and photos. Yes, you can bookmark your own blogs, articles and websites, but don't stop there - bookmark all of the places that is of interest to you whether it's yours or somebody else's.

Try to avoid bookmarking anything or place that contains adult content that children should not see. The places and things that you choose to bookmark will either reflect positively or negatively on your social reputation.

Step Nine: Building and Maintaining A Positive Reputation

As we discussed before, the reputation that you develop on the Internet and especially in the social networks that you are participating in is very important not to screw up. Some people believe that they can have it both ways, but once you develop a good reputation, and then reverse course the other direction, just kiss everything that you worked for good-bye. People do not like peopling who are mean, nasty, crude, or bookmark anything that would generally be unsafe to visit. Be nice and show respect for everyone even those people whom not nice to you. Just ignore those people are disrespectful and move on with your good reputation still intact.

Step Ten: Create or Join A Group

Most of the social networks on the Internet offer tools to its members, so that they can create or join a community group to get to know other members better. The groups vary widely in topics and subjects, but joining or creating one for you is an excellent way to make more friends. The best thing is that these friends share many of the same interests that you have and are more likely to want to visit your blog, website or read an article that you have written.

Step Eleven: Be Helpful

It is very important to be friendly and respectful to everyone that you meet in these social networks no matter if the people that you meet are nice to you or not. Be helpful and help other new members find their way around the social community when they need some help. Always invite anyone that you helped to become your friend as you and that person have already something in common. You both have established communication with one another in the form of helping each other in a time of need. People do remember the kindness of others, even if they say nothing at the time.
