How to Keep Yourself Updated All the Time

World changes at the speed of light and with the development of Google Android, iPhone and wireless Internet for mobile phones soon this change will be even faster. You must ensure you are always updated with the latest information if you want to triumph in business and life.

How to get the latest information from the internet quickly and easily?

1- Using Google Alerts. Most people know nothing about this Google feature and about how it can help you every single day. Imagine your business is oil. Do you want to know what's going on with oil all the time? Just enable the keyword "oil" to be delivered to you "as soon as happens" in all kind of media called "comprehensive". Now when something happens in the Oil world and Google finds out you are always the first to know, you and everyone who sets the very same alert.

If you don't want to be interrupted all the time you can set the Alert to only once a day. Before going to bed or when you get up you can and you should read a digest about all your favourite stuff just to keep your self updates. I cant imagine a better way to be informed in real time. Google guys are genius. Too bad most people don't use this tool. Google should include it in the search results.

With Google Alerts you don't need to search all the times to see if there is something new about this things you want. Google alerts will send you the latest index updates.

2- Using Stumble Upon. This tool will give you sites about subjects you want. Let's say you want to know more about banking. You stumble some sites and you mark the ones you like and the ones you don't like. Simple. The sites presented there are reviewed and ranked by all Stumble Upon members. That's how the system works. Very cool. Use it to access to an insane number of ranked sites about the subject you need to know more about all this in real time.

3- Article Directories. Sometimes Google can't just decide which sources are to be trusted and what sources and not to be trusted. This means that sometimes you will see a lot of junk in their index. It's not unusual to see the same article in the first three or four results and Google says they will ban any duplicated content. They are failing here! Or you can find some low level website that made to the top thanks to a hole in the Page Rank system the webmaster used to make the site appear as good and trustable. When such thing happens just use Ezine Articles to get what you want. All the article are reviewed before being posted.

4- Web Directories. Sometimes the only way to find what you want is to use the directories. You start browsing the directory to see the subject you want. Then you will see a subcategory and so on until you get a list of websites that match your criteria. It's great!

5- Finally you should use a different search engine specially a small one. Since they are not very popular, hackers and evil webmasters don't waste their time trying to hack the system and the algorithm so you can expect to get only trustable results. Examples and Ask Jeeves, Hot Bot, Live.

Extra 6- If you still don't have what you are trying to find you can always try the social networks. Personally my experience with them is not that good because of their spam and dead links and marketing purposes to show users a lot of advertisements. Try Digg, Technorati, Del.icio.us and others like those, but only as a last resource.

Internet Explorer 7 Release Candidate 1 available

The first Release Candidate of Internet Explorer 7 just went online. The adaptations in the RC1-build will especially offer better performances, stability, safety and software compatibility, according to the developers. The external visible changes compared to the third beta-version are minimal. A number of bugs were destroyed and css-support has almost been completed. Microsoft confirmed that the profitable render engine from the RC1-versie in principle will remain unchanged in the final build of Internet Explorer 7 at its release.

Web developers aren’t happy with this. Some say that it is even a shame that Microsoft hit the market with a browser in this stage. The release candidate will at first only be available in English, and will detect installed add-ons and toolbars automatically and will temporarily eliminate or automatically update all components of which is known that they can cause stability problems. In September the Arabic, Finnish, German, Japanese, Spanish and French versions will be available and the definitive version of IE7 is planned for the end of this year. For download-information and a changelog, you are in the right place at the meuktracker.
