Death: The Last Taboo

If you have ever wondered about what happens during an autopsy, there is a website I recommend.

It is called Death-The Last Taboo, it features an "Interactive Autopsy" section, found here
. If you are an anatomy and science buff then this site is great for educational purposes.

I ran across it the other day and found it very informative. Personally I find autopsies to be somewhat unnecessary, yet at the same time in some cases they do serve a purpose.

Example:`If a person is in a car accident or dies of unknown causes.

Normally I would say leave the business of death to the morticians,
but in some way or another, the subject affects and fascinates us all.

Why?

Human curiosity, and the pursuit of ever increasing amounts of knowledge.
If you are in the medical field then this site may be a good tool.
I believe if we better understand human anatomy,
we can better prevent and treat diseases.

I do not claim to be an expert in the field, but I do like to learn.
Knowledge is power as the old saying goes.
I hope you found this article informative and the link educational.

Thank you all for reading
