Build One Way Links to Your Website

You've been hearing a lot lately about SEO, one way link building, search engine rankings and what not, and you want a piece of the action! It's easy to see why; after all, when your ranking increases so do your sales and, ultimately, your bank account. And that's great for you. So read on, and find out about the most effective way to increase that famous search engine ranking: one way link building.

First of all, to build one way links is more difficult than the common practice, which is link exchange. Why would you go over your head to build one way links? First of all, because it all pays off in the end, and you'll get excellent search engine results for a longer period of time. Second of all, it's because efficient link building will make your site look better in the eyes of potential customers, having that great reputation given to it by all those free links.

Generally speaking, you want link building to happen when your business depends on your website. Your main concern is Google, the all mighty search engine, but do not ignore the other search engines, such as Yahoo, as you'll get precious traffic from them too. Think of it this way: Google sees every link you get as a positive vote for your site. The more votes you get, the better the place you're getting in search queries for your keywords.

The number one benefit of one way link building is that you aren't bound to link back to websites you don't like, as part of a link exchange program. You just get them, ideally they should be natural, but it doesn't really matter if you use a cheap link building service or the services of a professional link building company. Natural links are better because they're constant. If you get a natural backlink, you can be sure it stays there for a long term.

So how can you get more backlinks for your website? Other than the simple answer, which is content, content and more content, you can also try some of these methods:

acquire the services of a link building company

read a link building book, or a link building handbook, as they're easy to find and very informative

read all the articles about SEO you can get your hands on

provide free content on your website

buy one way backlinks or use a backlink submission company

build one way links by submitting your website to directories related to your activity

link building isn't hard when your company blog takes off with a blast, people will link to it

free backlinks will be coming your way when the newsletters you send are really valuable to those that read them

hire a writer to provide you with quality, original articles that you can then submit to all sorts of websites

for efficient link building, hire a SEO copywriter to take care of your website content and other marketing collateral

These are just a few of the strategies available to you in your pursuit of free backlinks. Our advice, when it comes to one way link building, is to hire professional to take care of it for you. It will be one of the best investments you'll ever make, and link building services abound on the Internet. With a little research, you'll be able to build backlinks that will be both natural and will last for a long time. That, obviously, translating into money in your bank account. Good luck!

To Increase Google Page Rank, Write About What You Know

There is no question that Google is the number one search engine on the Internet. When it comes to SEO, or search engine optimization, you should be tailoring your website's search ability toward Google.

In order to increase the success of your SEO campaign you must be able to increase your Google Page Rank. Your Google Page Rank tells you how important Google thinks your website is.

There are a number of factors that goes into calculating the Google Page Rank, all of which are highly top secret, or so we are told. It has been deducted by viewing previous versions of the Google Page Rank algorithm, the parts they let everyone see, that quality back links to your website is a strong indicator for increasing your site's Page Rank.

A great way to obtain quality back links to your website and at the same time help increase your Google Page Rank is to write articles that cover topics related to your website. At the bottom of your articles you will have what is called an article resource box. It will be in this resource box that you will post a small bio about yourself and post a link to your website.

Let's say for example you have a web site that sells digital cameras. I would suggest that you write articles on taking good photographs or how to use the zoom options and so on. Then in the resource box your bio would look like this, “John J. Doe is the owner of website name where they have over 500 different models of digital cameras for sale.”

Once you have written your article, including the resource box, you will then post this article to various article directories around the web such as Ezine or ArticleDashboard.

Websites such as Ezine or ArticleDashboard allow you to post your articles free of charge. More importantly visitors to those article directories are looking for content. If they like your article and it is what they are looking for they will then use your article, links and all, to post on their own websites and blogs.

Continue this process daily writing one to two articles each day, and in 30 to 60 days you will notice a huge increase in the number of visitors to your website, but more importantly with each Google indexing, the process by which Google determines your page rank, you will see your page rank increase. It won't go from 0 to 10 overnight but it will increase over time.

Now wash, rinse and repeat this cycle and you will continue to add links pointing back to your site, content to the web and of course your expertise which will go a long way in attracting visitors.

Although no one knows the Google Page Rank algorithm except its inventors, one thing is for sure you need to get quality back links, and a lot of them in order to increase your Google Page Rank which brings your website to the top of search results.

Increase Your Google Page Rank with These Tips

The search engine is called Google and for all intents and purposes it is perceived to be the Holy Grail of all internet searches. More people “Google” something everyday than any other search engine on the internet. If you go to Google and type in any keyword to search on, in a matter of seconds hundreds of thousands of results will be returned.

How does Google do it? It is simply their page ranking and indexing algorithm. Formulated by a couple of college friends from Stanford University, they were able to devise a scheme in such a way where each website is indexed and ranked on the internet. They call this the Google page rank.

The Google page rank or “pr” for short is a system that ranks a website from 0 to 10 with 0 being the lowest. Then when someone searches certain keywords Google returns the pages that are ranked higher first. In order to keep an updated ranking of the web, Google crawls the internet about twice to three times per year and indexes each website and sends their page rank up or down based on their popularity.

So how does Google know how popular a website is? It is based on the number of quality links pointing back to it. The higher pr a website has that is pointing back to your website the more favorable it is looked upon by Google. For example, the New York Daily News has a pr of 8. If you were to receive a link from the New York Daily News back to your site that would help boost your PR (if it were lower of course), however you pointing back to the New York Daily News would not carry as much weight in the ranking system. For the Daily News it would still help them but not as much as their link back to you would help your site.

There are a couple of good ways to get good quality links back to your website. The first is to partake in conversations on blogs and other written articles where you add quality feedback and in your comment post a link back to your website. When you add comments you want them to add value to the discussion. If they seem like you are just trying to get your link in there chances are your comment will be deleted.

The second way is adding content to the world wide web. People that use the internet are hungry for valuable information. You are an expert on something and you need to write about it. What you want to do is write articles that are about 350 to 750 words in length and offer valuable content. If you are an auto mechanic write about how to properly check your tires for tread wear. If you worked as a handyman, offer some tips on how to repair small holes in drywall. You get the point. Than at the bottom of the article you are going to put in your author resource information. It would read like this, “John Doe is a 15 year experienced auto mechanic specializing in tune ups, brakes and front end alignments, you can learn more about John's work at abc.com.” The resource gives you a chance to tell readers of your article that you are experienced so the advice you are giving is valid and also gives them a way to get in touch with you.

Now that you have your articles written what do you with them? You want to submit them to article directories so they can be used by others around the world. You can post them to sites like EzineArticles or ArticleDashboard. These are free sites where your articles are posted and then others looking for content for their site will go there and use your article as it is written, link and all, and post it on their site. The more articles you write and post, the more back links you will get.

Finally, I need to make mention of one fact that a lot of web site owners overlook when it comes the Google pr. Time is your friend and enemy. When you create your website it usually takes anywhere from 2 to 4 months before Google will even take a look it. That is because most websites get removed within the first couple of months. So do not get discouraged if you write a hundred articles in the first two months and your PR is still zero. It will jump up once Google puts your site into its rotation.

Now once you are in Google's indexing rotation, the older your website is the more favorable Google looks at it. A website that has been around for 10 years will look better than a website that has been around for 10 days. So as long as your website is active and you are building those back links with article content, Google will automatically start increasing your pr.

In the world of SEO development, a pr 10 is like reaching the top of Mount Everest. Stick with these tips, stay focused and you will reach the top.

How Do I Increase my Search Rankings?

”The strongest single factor in prosperity consciousness is self-esteem: believing you can do it, believing you deserve it, believing you will get it.” By Jerry Gillies: Author and workshop leader

As someone who runs a website I understand people's frustration when you work extremely hard to build a great site, add a lot of functionality to make it a hit with web surfers and no one visits. You could spend a ton of money on pay-per-click advertising, however more often than not, people who arrive at your website through pay-per-click advertising are nothing more than “tire kickers”. In other words they really have no intention of buying or registering, they are just curious as to what you have to offer.

In steps the variety of search engines from which your potential customers can locate your website. The best part is you did not have to pay for them to find you. The issue arises as to how you can get your website to rank higher on those search engines.

There is no question that there are a number of ways to do this, but in this article we will cover a couple of them to get you started.

Start with adding content to your site that is related to what ever it is you are selling. In other words let's say you sell widgets. Start adding content to your site related to widgets. Simply write informative articles about the products. Do not allow your articles to sound like infomercials or advertisements. The reader of your article should come out knowing more about widgets then when they went in.

This content now becomes indexed searchable text by all the search engines. So let's say you have an article titled “How to use a widget properly?” When people do a search with those keywords you will appear higher in the rankings so as long as there aren't hundreds of other websites with similar articles. This brings us up to issue number two.

In order for your content to appear higher than that of other websites your site itself must be ranked higher. This is simply done with back links. The more websites that point back to your website without you having to point back to theirs will drive your website way up the ranking system of most search engines.

This can be accomplished by writing additional articles related to widgets and submitting them to many article directories such as Ezine or Article Dashboard. Do not submit the same article you wrote earlier. That will defeat the purpose of adding the content to your website in the first place. Instead make sure your article is new and well written content so other websites can add it to their site. At the bottom of the article, called the resource box, add in your tag line with a link to your website. It should read something like this, “Mr. Jones is the CEO of Widget International. To learn more about their widgets visit their website at .”

Just make sure the link to the website is an active link so people can click on it. This can be done by enclosing the link in html anchor tags. More importantly than people being able to click on this link is the fact that the search engine spiders see this as a one way active link, pointing back to your website. One way links are the strongest links your website can have.

Above are just two of the ways you can increase your search engine ranking and get closer to the top of those results. Keep repeating this process and over time you will have enough content and enough back links where search engines will invariably put your website in the number one position.

Increase Your Page Rank

Use many keyword meta tags. Use this with commas. Make sure you do not repeat the same word more than 3 times in a row. Google indexes only the first 101K of the document not use AT much.

Make sure you have at least one link to Google. They need quality traffic as well. Do not be greedy and hog it all to yourself. This can do wonders for your pages. Remember - Google may go public soon - so the more movement you better.

Using invisible text, but makes it close - colors such as 00FF33 & 00FF66 browser are both safe, but are so close to the most people can not tell the difference. Although Google has more than 50 Phds on staff - none of them probably know this - in order - the bottom of the page is a good place - right over what you learn in number 4. Use your mouse to highlight what is written in the box below to see what I mean.

Dots, dots, and More Dots. Put them in the bottom of your document like this.
Then each one link to your pages - make sure you have a link to Google and for a good measure to Yahoo. No links to other sites (other than your own) that is not search engines. Not even link to sites that used search engines - such as AltaVista.

This tip is probably the most powerful one in here. Make at least three pages on your site and link them as follows: Page 1 Page 2 >>>>>> Page 2 Page 3 And this is the kicker Page 3 >>>>>> Page 1. Google will give points to page 2 of page 1, then page 3 of page 2, and then - if you link back to page 1 - is starting all over again. I can not even count how many points it will eventually. Just not too much of the abuse - whether large sites will complain that you use too many of them PR.

Use H1 Tags for your entire page (with the exception of the title and other information in the header). You can use CSS style sheets to make them look smaller and Google gives you bookoo points to the fact that everything is so great on the page (although it does not look at the big user).

Submit early and submit often. I prefer to concentrate on Sunday. That way - on Monday - the Googleplex will be inundated with so much to do - I believe it slip by. See Googleplex hard at work. Do you want to work on a ban suggests if you could get free goat cheese (especially after two days without). Would you prefer to play "chopsticks" on a grand piano while a massage? Or look at the pages of any day of Britney Spears?

Link other people to link to your page using link: www.example.org. This is similar to the technique in # 5, but not as powerful.

Be spelling. Words such as "PENS" and "ANGINA" can easily be misspelled words of the male and female anatomy. This will lead to Google mistake your site for a ADUL † Site - and the forbidden. Gemerkt how I used a special character to look like the letter "T" from the floor on the site. Use clever tricks like this one in your documents.

If all else fails - mail a 10-spot packaged in an envelope number 10 (make sure you wrap a layer of aluminum foil around it). Give your URL above the serial number on the front. If it does not fit, then that's the problem - if Google hatred long URLs.

Page Ranking for Webmasters

These details include how well the site has been built, daily usage statistics, where the site is ranked in the world, accessibility issues and much more. There are many of these services out there and every one of them is unique in both the services they provide and how the information is shown to the webmaster. Here are just some of the websites available and what services they provide:

Silktide Sitescore

Sitescore offers two kinds of reports. There is a free utility for average webmasters or a more detailed report for those who want to pay. I have not tried the paid one but here are some of the reports given in the free utility.

W3C Validation

This tells you if you have any errors in the code of your website and how it will affect the accessibility to a world wide audience.

Meta Tag Rating

This information shows how well your Meta information is doing on major search engines.

E.G. Based on your webpage title, we guessed that your website/company name is "your company". In the text on your homepage, these appear to be the most significant phrases:

Keyword one

Keyword two

Keyword three

We took the top 3 phrases and searched for them in Google, along with your website/company name.

Google found you company at position 2 in the search engine"

How Useful The Content Is To The Visitor

This feature suggests ways in which you can gain visitors to your site. For example they might suggest you have a login facility, forum or an option to sign up to newsletter. In other words it's ways that you can keep your visitors attention.

Speed

How fast your average visitor has to wait before they can see your page, the average is about 1 second.

5) Use of Images

There are tons of reasons why images play an important role in making a great website. They are pleasant to look at, they attract the visitor's attention etc.

PageRanker

This is a different kind of ranking facility as it gathers results from several ranking websites and displays the information together. This way is better in the way that it displays all data but if you don't put a link to the website before running the tests it will bombard you with advertisements.

Google PageRank

PageRank relies on the nature of the web. Google uses the link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. The way it works is that Google interprets a link from one page to another as a vote/point, for example a page linking to another is classed as a point for the page it's linking to. Google does not only use this information it also analyzes the page that links to it. The page that the link was provided is also important.

The more high quality a webpage is and the more links to it determines your overall Page Rank.

Page Strength

The Page Strength tool from
Seomoz.org
shows reports on areas such as:

The Relative Importance/Visibility of a Webpage

The Potential Strength/Ability of a Page to Rank in the Search Engines

And last but not least: Data on Popularity, Links & Mentions of the Page across the Web

Conclusion:

If your a webmaster and would like to find out ways to improve your popularity on the net, seek advice on ways you can keep visitors and have detailed reports then I would suggest Silktide Sitescore because it produces more detailed reports, suggests ways to improve your site, enables people to rank your site and offers solutions to correct the most common problems.
