Marketing your articles on Triond is no easy task for most people, including the seasoned veterans. You have to know where to look, you have to open up your minds to another form of relay switch.

What I mean by all of this is to think outside the box. I know it sounds cliché, and maybe it is but, some of us need some help and we are not afraid to ask.

I was so honored that so many of my Triond friends and fans came to me for guidance.

I am going to let you in on a few points that I hope will make a difference in your traffic count. At least try one everyday and see if it helps.

Social Bookmarking

By now, everyone is familiar with term but, do you really know if it’s working for you? Bookmarking articles, on many occasions, only benefit’s the writer by cataloging your articles for future reference.  Also, Bookmarking is a way for users to manage webpages for the sole purpose of sharing them with people we know.

Honestly, this is from my own experience now everyone so don’t get upset, I don’t bookmark as much as the next person.  If you have hundreds of friends that will religiously read your work than that’s wonderful but, would you mind millions of people across the globe surfing on the internet reading your work? Hmm

This is why I spend more time submitting to the sites that will make even a greater difference in page views.

I have noticed that when I directly submit my URL to the link submission page for every search engine my articles get crawled even quicker than if I submit through the Triond submit link tool next to the article.

As writers, we want our articles presented to the masses as quickly as possible not only for exposure but, to make a little pocket change.

  • Stumbleupon - Add a toolbar to your browser to submit every piece you read and write.

Rss Feeds are used to publish work that is frequently changing. It’s a great option for Triond users who are constantly getting comments and submitting new work.

If you are unfamiliar on the location of these feeds, just go to one of your articles and scroll to the bottom where is says Subscribe to RSS.



Click on Subscribe to Feeds and get this screen.

Copy the URL.

Submit the URL to Rss Directories like:

I can not stress enough how important it is to include as many external links within your blog as possible, remembering to keep it tasteful and relevant.

What is an external link? These links travel back to webpages that are pertinent to the subject matter and of course the word that is highlighted.

Play around with these in your articles. This is the best way for your page to be indexed by the major search engines.

Internal Links

These are links within your blog that pertain to another article you may have written that’s related.

I know this is quite a bit of information to digest but, if you have the time and most of us don’t,  try to use the best options for you.   1. Get an account at  Blogcatalog Post your blog entry there and surf around, make friends, visit their blogs and leave supportive intelligent comments.
  2. Get a RSS feed from feedburner so that you have an RSS feed URL that people can subscribe to. RSS means Rich Site Summary. It lists updates of websites or blogs available for syndication as headlines and summaries.
  3. Join Bloglog service and invite everyone in your network to subscribe: family, friends, colleagues, clients, and associates.
  4. Join MyYahoo.com Choose “Add Content” and add your blog RSS feed.
  5. Read and comment on other blogs that are in your subject area. Rather than writing comments like "cool" or "great post." leave intelligent, useful comments with a link to your blog.
  6. Use  Ping-0-matic to ping blog directories. Do this every time you publish content on your blog. But don’t do this every five minutes.

  8. Add a link to your blog in your email signature file.
  9. Put a link to your blog on every page of your website or ask other bloggers to exchange links.
  10. Get your personal page at http://wiGoogle and add your blog details there.
  11. Print your blog URL on your business cards, brochures, and flyers. Tell everyone you know about your blog.
  12. Write articles on the same topics as your blog and send them to different free article sites like Ezine Articles Include a link to your blog in the author info box.
  13. Use sites like Faves.com or Delicious to favourite your blog entries, find interesting favourites from others and make friends.
  14. Join StumbleUpon and start stumbling your blog entries and those of others.
  15. Post your blog entries to your Facebook  contacts. If you contribute to writing communities like  Triond.com make friends there and mention your blog.

One more thing! Content is king. Do write interesting things in a sensible way. A Niagara of complaints about your boss or your spouse may not make occasional readers come back for more.

By doing all these steps the traffic for my blog at Original Wavelength increased 1000%.

There are many sites we can bookmark with the help through Triond website.

Actually there is another way to promote our post in Triond. And it is much easier and more effective than bookmarking. It is by using feed URL. Feed is some sort of the latest update of your content in certain website or blog. It update automatically whenever you got new contents. If you understand well what it is, you will knew that, this will make all your marketing through the internet much easier than before. So I suggest you use Feed for all your content in all website, blog and others. If you recently read from Triond wordpress site here, you can see that, there is a feed URL to our post in Triond.

For example, I got some pictures uploaded in Triond, when I click at my name which is under the title of the pictures (by ksoleh), it will show all the pictures that I have uploaded. Try click at the Subscribe by RSS there. You will see feed post made by me. Copy the feed URL there and put the URL at RSS submission. You can search RSS submission through Google.

If you can see now, actually you can do a lot with the Feed URL there and make your life much easier than before to tell people about your content in Triond.

Here are some examples:

  1. Link the Feed URL at your blog.

     For example in Blogspot, you can add a “Feed” page element at your Blogspot and enter your Triond Feed URL there. Remember, your Picable Feed and your Authspot Feed are different, so you might well want to add two or three page element at your blog to tell everyone about your post in Triond by using the Feed element and your Feed URL there.

  2. If you can ask your friend to subscribe by email, it will be better.

     Every time you got new post in Triond, whether it is in Authspot or Picable or Cooknote, your friend will notice your new post. This is very effective if you got so many friends subscribing your Feed URL. Through email. Remember, they have to subscribe each of it, Authspot, Picable and others to receive update of your post in different sites.

  3. Thirdly is like in the Instruction above.
