How to Generate a Horde of Website Traffic From Youtube

n my past few articles, I have shared some general tips on how to generate traffic for your website, whether it's for business or personal use. In this particular article, we will specifically explore some ways on how to generate traffic by using one of the most frequently visited sites in the world - Youtube.

The good thing about video is that it incorporates sounds and visuals in one platform, which gives you a splendid advantage to access different parts of your viewers' brain. Video advertising is also free in most cases. But before you upload one thousand videos on Youtube, with the hope of getting more website traffic, consider these tips first:

Tip # 1:

Make Sure The Quality Of The Video Is Satisfactory - many people overlook this. Out of their excitement, they instantly record a one or two minute video of themselves talking in front of the camera, believing that it's enough to generate traffic. To be an effective video advertiser, though, you might want to consider buying a digicam with good quality and high resolution. Sound clarity should also be taken into consideration.

Tip # 2:

Don't forget to include "watermarks". Watermarks are website links that you flash on the video screen itself (like a subtitle). When you are editing your video, make sure you include a caption at the bottom part of the screen, displaying your website address link you are trying to promote. You may want to display your web link on the Youtube video description panel itself

Tip # 3:

Make your video as viral as possible. A viral video is something that's so informative, funny, weird, interesting, shocking..etc..so much that it's popularity spreads like wildfire all over the internet! People are linking back to it, and they are displaying it in their blog. They also share it to their friends via email. IF you know what people want, then you are in a position to create a video that will be viewed by more people, and will bring more traffic to your main website in the long run.

Tip # 4:

Mind Your headlines - Your video headline is as important as the video itself! Whether the viewer will open your video or not depends on how well you word your headline. In other words, it needs to be appealing, and appalling. This is self explanatory. Let me add, though, DON'T post misleading headlines. Other people include Barack Obama or Britney Spears on their headlines although their videos are not relevant to it. Viewers find that annoying and it will NOT result in increased web traffic.

Tip # 5:

Take advantage of Youtube's social networking aspect. You can add friends, share videos, post comments on other people's profiles, exchange favorites and ratings, share web links..etc. Needless to say, expanding your online connections will also generate highly targeted traffic to your site. Guaranteed!
How to Generate More Traffic to any Website

Whether you have a blog, personal page, or business website, you need more traffic! Website traffic is simply defined as the amount of people who visit your site. You may have the best site and content in the world, but without a considerable amount of traffic, your website is utterly useless.

The question is, how much traffic do you need? The answer depends on the kind of website or online presence you have. People with personal pages and blogs for non commercial purposes may be contented with their friends and family visiting their site. But for online marketers and business bloggers, they rely on a huge amount of traffic in order to get visitors, leads, prospects, customers, and revenue from their websites.

Regardless of your reasons for generating traffic, here are some success secrets on how you can turn your site into a well visited, winning site.

Know Your Audience

And I mean, know them very much! If you don't know your audience, you will not be able to decide on what particular promotional approach to use. For example, your website is about weight loss, then you should research on the popular topics that appeal to weight loss enthusiasts. Then, make that information available on your site! This will ensure that future visitors of your site will enjoy your content and come back for more.

Know The Movement Of Your Target Crowd

You should discover where your target crowd frequently goes. What sites do they regularly visit? For example, your website is about network marketing and your target crowd consists of people who are interested in earning extra money. Then you should discover the top forums, blogs, social networking sites, chatrooms that these people visit! Create a user buzz in your category of interest by contributing articles, participating in discussions, and exchanging links in those key sites.

Know The Popular Keywords in Your Field Of Interest

This might take some time to discover, but it will do you good for the long term traffic. Take a look at sites and forums with a similar topic to your site. Which articles and posts get more views than the others? What words and phrases do they have in common? As you gain more knowledge and expertise in your particular niche (or topic) online, you will be aware of the popular keywords that generate user interest and attract the search engines faster. For example, in the personal development niche, one of the most popular keywords are "success secrets". So if you have a site that's related to self-help or personal development, make sure you include those words in your keyword list. Then use that phrase repeatedly in the content of your website. This will attract more web users, and yes, search engines. More traffic.

Use MySpace and Social Networking Sites To Your Advantage

This step is really easy. Sign up to Myspace for free. Create an attractive profile, then post your website links and some of your sample articles there. Then, invite more Myspace friends. As you go along building your friends list, people also see your website link too! That could also generate more traffic! There are many ways you can generate a horde of traffic through social networking sites, and I will discuss that in future articles.

Virus Heat: The New Virus

Virus Heat is a new rogue anti-spyware program infecting your computer. Of course, it looks like a great anti-virus program but it is the exact opposite. Most of the viruses it scanned are installed by the program itself. It is also been known to exaggerate how many viruses it has found. Now, if you have tried to uninstall it already you will already know it will not be uninstalled.

Now, how to uninstall it. There are three basic ways to get rid of this. First, you can purchase the Virus Heat ($49.50 I think) and uninstall it. Of course, nobody wants to pay that much. Another way to uninstall this is to do it manually. This is hard and can become very confusing if you are not that good with a computer. Finally, you can use a program called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to kill Virus Heat. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is by far, the best anti-malware program on Earth.

To uninstall it manually, follow the directions on the website below. I will not list out the directions because I did not do that, and also, it is a long and grueling process.

First, you will need this program called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. No, it is not a virus. To be safe, download it from this website.

There is some additional information there about uninstalling.

After you have downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, start a quick scan. Let it finish and Virus Heat should be gone.
