The legal movie websites have made deals with the movie and television industries to pay for the programming through other means. The majority of times, users of these sites are asked to watch short sponsor advertisement in exchange for the service and/or agree to signup for a newsletter (where sponsors have another chance to advertise). Watching a brief ad, so to watch a new movie or television show is a small price to pay in order to save money on entertainment.

With only about 200 KB, it is unbelievable that Joakim L. Christiansen (Norway) can create an internet TV program with 1350 channels.

Unlike other internet TV program, JLC's Internet TV has a very simple appearance, easy to use and always has new channels. The biggest advantage of this program is you do not have to install. JLC's Internet TV only uses 200 KB of your system resources. It also sorts channel by nations. While the other Internet TV program often costs about $20- $30, JLC's Internet TV is free.

JLC's Internet TV can be downloaded at Internet_TV.zip. After downloading, you have to unzip internet_TV.zip to a new folder. You must connect to internet to use this program. Click Channel Updater.exe to update new channels to JLC's Internet TV. This progress will take a while. When the line Channels found: [The number of channels are found] appears, click “close” to shut off Channel Updater v1.0 Beta 4.

Next, double-click Internet TV.exe to run JLC's Internet TV. You will see a list of channel in the right windows. You can choose to watch channel from many different countries. This program also provides category, bitrate and comment of each channel. This makes it much easier for you to find the channel you want.

You can also watch Internet TV in full screen mode. However, depending on the birate of channel you are watching, the quality of your TV will be different. To keep the quality, I recommend you use only about 3/4 of your screen. Do not use full-screen mode. When you find an interesting channel, you can right-click and choose “Add to Favorites”. The channel will be saved under “My Favorite Channel”.

JLC's Internet TV works in every version of Microsoft Windows. However, when using this in Mac computer, you should download Real Player or Windows Media Players. You can use either Windows Media Players or Real Player to support the program.
