10 Weird Things That Sell Well on Ebay That You Would Normally Throw Away

I have found that people buy the strangest things. Things that I would normally think about throwing out, however since doing some research on ebay, I have now started listing these items on eBay and people buy them!

Carrier Bags

Yes the humble carrier bag is always in demand on ebay. It is usually the designer carrier bags, or the study kind of women's clothes store bags with the rope style handles that do well, and any kind of unusual looking bags as people collect these.

Empty Perfume Bottles

Empty perfume bottles are good sellers on ebay for two reasons. If you take some refillable perfume bottles (for example Angel perfume) back to a stockist, you can often get the bottle refilled with the perfume for less than it costs to buy a brand new bottle. Also, people collect perfume bottles, especially designer names, unusual shape bottles, miniatures and limited edition bottles.

Empty Ink Catridges

These sell well on eBay as people buy them and refill them which is much more environmentally friendly than buying new ones all the time.

Theme Park Guides

Some people like to collect these kind of things, especially if it is somewhere they have visited for example and have lost or damaged their original one.

Craft Items

Craft items can range from cardboard toilet rolls, pieces of shiny paper, bits of ribbon from chocolate boxes, buttons etc. Anything like this which is usually discarded can be stored and when you have a reasonable amount of mixed items, list it on ebay as craft items and your pieces of junk could be someone elses treasure, just what they need to start or finish their next craft project.

Coupons and Vouchers

If you have any sort of coupons or vouchers for particular brands or stores and you are not going to use them, put them on ebay because somebody will want them. Say, for example you have £10 off for a particular store that you got for free through the post. Put it on eBay, and if you get, for example £7 for it, you have made £7 and the winning bidder has then earnt £3 off his or her favourite store. You both win!

Old Postcards

It doesn't matter if they are old, or have writing on the back of them, there are many people who collect postcards of all kinds of things, funny ones, landmarks, scenery, animals. Put together a bundle and get them listed on ebay.

Old Concert Tickets and Programmes

Fans and collectors will pay money for your old ticket stubs and programmes from concerts and gigs.

Broken Electrical Items

If you have an electrical item, camera, hand held game machine or anything along those lines that is broken and you think it is beyond repair, don't throw it away. As long as you state clearly in your listing that the item is broken you can list it on ebay, and people always buy these sort of things. There is usually someone that knows how to fix them, or are just looking for working parts out of them to fix their own.

Old mobile Phones

Again, like the electrical items, it doesn't matter if they are working or not, as long as you state if they are faulty or broken in the listing. These sell well for the parts.

Shopaholics Beware: The 5 Weirdest Online Products

In the age Online shopping, shopaholics are having more trouble keeping their addiction under control. The Internet provides another whole new playground for their addiction to grow. Husbands, take your credit cards back or you might end up with one of these as your next birthday present. Well, at least it isn't another tie...

BongMe

This company offers drinking products for parties, and crazy stuff like helmets for beer cans, or the "Bottle bong can" that makes drinking a bottle of beer much easier and much faster. Strange products, take a look!

iLove

The magazine ilove is the first magazine sold in a bottle, yes, in a bottle!

Instead of going to buy the magazine in a book shop, you have to go to the supermarket and buy the ilove bottle. To read it you only have to peel back the label and then enjoy the 32-page pocket-sized women magazine while you drink the refreshing Australian water.

eggling

The idea of this Japanese product is not to raise chickens from an egg but to grow a plant from inside an egg. Confused? The main idea is focused in three basic steps: cracking the ceramic egg, then watering it, adding a little bit of sun and there you have you a nice plant. It comes in a variety of designs and plants, nice!

nothinginthebox

This website is quite well-known by some people because it has appeared in the news, but for those who don't know it, here it is with a short description: these people sell NOTHING, yes, nothing for $9.95. It sounds kinda weird, and it IS weird, but they have great debates on the webpage that make you wonder whether you want to buy it for yourself or give it as a present to someone who has everything.

 And finally…

Reserve A Spot in Heaven

Reserve a spot in heaven is an excellent website, with the ironic purpose of selling passports directly to heaven before it's too late. The ticket comes with some advantages and privileges according to the travel kit you choose. The documentation for your demurrage in heaven and all the VIP passes are included.

You can also check out Reserve a Spot in Hell for those who would like to try hell, or you can send the passports directly to someone you dislike.

Top Five Weird and Random Games

Bloons Tower Defense

Set up towers to shoot baloons as they zoom through a maze. This game is a bit random, but on higher levels involves great amounts of strategic thought. If you enjoy random stress relievers involving monkeys, this is the game for you.

Bloons Tower Defense 2

The next and newest version of the above game, this flash game has new updates including temporary items and better towers. Medium and hard difficulties can get extremely tough. This is a great game for tower defense lovers.

The Impossible Quiz 2

You'll laugh all the way through this impossible quiz. I've beaten it, but it doesn't take just knowledge. Some answers are completely wrong, while others involve weird and random tricks. Some are like weird minigames. Keep in mind that this quiz takes a while to load…. Especially for dial-up users.

Gods Playing Field

This has to be the greatest stress reliever I've ever played. There is no objective, simply kill people and cars for money. Purchase upgrades with this, and kill more people. The brutal simplicity is amazing.

The Idiot Test

Test your level of intelligence on this seemingly-easy quiz that gets progressively harder. There is nothing random about this quiz, but it is embedded with interesting tricks that actually make sense. I have passed it completely (on my 2nd try!).

Visual Oddities: 11 Wildly Eccentric Videos From the Archive

It was a challenge finding these following flicks amongst all the other weirdness, but an enjoyable task nonetheless. I mean, where else on the Net can you go to watch animated talking teeth, people acting like cavemen in a busy city, and a chimpanzee being fired into space? Only at the Internet Archive, apparently.

1. Help, My Snowman's Burning Down (1964)

This multi-award winning surrealistic film is supposedly a satire on Madison Avenue advertising. It's full of bizarre images: a fully-clothed man using a typewriter in the bathtub, a woman's hand coming out of the drain, and a roll of toilet paper attacking a man's leg are just some of the scenes within this strange film. You will also hear some pretty good jazz in it too. Oh, and around the 6:45 mark the guy sets fire to his own hat to keep warm. Now why didn't I think of that?

2. Cliché Family in Televisionland (1965?)

This film is a corny parody of the typical television family. The Internet Archive describes this movie as an "in-house" joke made by a large television commercial producer. Some of the scenes are actually quite funny, and it's amazing to see how many of the clichés in this film still hold true today. A little after the five minute mark, a man smokes two cigarettes at the same time. Ah, men were men back then...

3. Munchers: A Fable (1973)

I've used the word surrealistic many times before, and I'm gonna use it again for this film. What you've got here is your basic surrealistic stop-motion clay animation story on proper dental hygiene. Talking teeth, a bad guy named Jack Sweet, and dental abuse with what looks to be a handheld bulldozer abound. Man, the 70's sure were weird.

4. Mud People (1989)

Wait, I take that "70's was weird" crack back... it seems that the 80's were even weirder by the looks of this video. Some sort of weird performance art event where people acted like cave people in downtown San Francisco. You know, running around in the revolving doors, angering people trying to work, that sort of thing. This video is much too short in my opinion; much more footage of the "mud people" going berserk would have been great.

5. VD is for Everybody (1969)

It is? None for me, thanks! A montage of different people make up this short video, including a very catchy song as well. One lyric goes: "Anyone can share VD with someone as nice as you..." Awww. Brings a tear to my eye, this public servant announcement does. And now that I've watched the video three times, I feel like I may need to go to the doctor.

6. Trailblazer In Space (1961)

If you've ever had a hankering to learn the whole process of firing a chimpanzee into space, then this is the flick for you. This video documents a 1961 space mission, where Ham - an innocent chimpanzee, is the passenger on a rocket pointed way, way up. Everything goes fine in the primate's eighteen minute space flight, thankfully. Ham was a true trailblazer into space, and this is his proud record.

7. That's Right

This is an excellent example of a mashup made with a video from the Internet Archive. Made by a fellow named Ken Smith, this short film is, well... you have to see it. Including a whole bunch of strange clips from weird movies, this mashup is genuinely a pleasure to experience. That's right!

8. About Fallout (1955)

No, this mini-documentary isn't about the classic computer game, unfortunately. Attempting to explain nuclear fallout and be reassuring at the same time isn't easy, but this movie does its best. Filmed in glorious 50's color, the narrator has a very calm, easy-going voice which almost makes you believe that being bombarded by lethal radiation is really no big thing after all.

9. The True Experience of Officer Harold Sewell (1938)

This film is a prime example of what happens when you give a lousy script to a bunch of bad actors. A commercial for Eveready batteries, this one minute and twenty second tour de force is supposedly a true account of police officer Howard Sewell stopping a car being wrecked by a train by using his flashlight. A flashlight using Eveready batteries, of course. The great parts in this video are when Officer Sewell says, "I'll stop it!" and dashes off like Superman, and at the end where everybody is thanking the flashlight for warning the train to stop, instead of Officer Sewell.

10.Tribune-American Dream Picture (1924)

A silent movie from 1924, this short flick documents a woman's dream. It's a strange one too, with her running around trying to find her baby, who eventually turns up driving a car! Also the man stomping fish in the middle of the street doesn't help matters much. Somehow the lack of sound in this movie only makes it even more surreal.

11. Knife-Thrower and Children (1950s)

Here is a touching short film about a mother lovingly throwing knives at her two young daughters. Back in the 1950's, this sort of thing was an entertaining family act; these days it would get Louella Gallagher, the mother in this video, at least ten years behind bars. She is very talented at throwing the knives, although one has to wonder if her kids are still alive today.

Eight Sites Full of Weird, Sick, Twisted and Bizarre Photos, Videos and Hilarious Humor

During a recent conversation with a co-worker, I realized how much time the average web surfer spends looking for things I would classify as just "pure entertainment". This often includes weird, bizarre, hilarious and otherwise unusual pictures, videos and humor.

I figured, just for pure, un-homogenized entertainment value, I would compile a list of some of the better, more in depth websites that reside in this realm. After much exhaustive research and study, here is my compilation of eight of the best sites for weird and bizarre, often humorous content, on the internet.

Evil Milk

This is a funny, hilarious, sometimes borderline obscene site that is wildly popular. It allows individuals to post pictures and videos. While not heavy on humor, you might see anything from a guy with a massive hamburger in his mouth to a cute blond doing something you wouldn't dream of seeing in public.

Mental Refugee

If you are looking for something that is a little less bizarre and more humor oriented, this site is hilarious and full of content. One of the best things about Mental Refugee is that the links are a little, less, er...raw.

Dave's Daily

This is full of strange, funny and sometimes scintillating pictures. I really got a kick out of this site, check it out!

Eat Liver

This is a site full of handpicked, often rare, usually bizarre internet photographs. There are close to three thousand premium pictures on this site!

Top You Tube Videos

This is exactly that. While not affilliated with You Tube, it has some of the funniest, most outrageous videos on the web!

Bizarrer

This is not the biggest site on the net, but it has quality content that ranges from sexy to innocent childhood humor. Definitely worth checking out.

Anomalies Unlimted

This is a site where the content is more researched, organized and on topic. It covers things as varied as Kurt Cobain's suicide, the World Trade Center Attacks and alien encounters. I browsed this site for a while, and although I did not believe all of it, occasionally I encountered things that made me scratch my head.

EBaumsworld

This site is loaded with bizarre, sick and twisted stuff. It is probably only rivalled by evilmilk as for actual depth of content, but you may find that one is more to your liking than the other.

Hope you enjoy these sites, and remember, don't believe every little thing you see, but believe most of them!

11 Very Strange Videos From the Internet Archive

One of the best resources on the Internet for public domain films is The Internet Archive:

If you've never visited the site, you'll thank ol' SlackerDan for pointing you in the direction to literally thousands of film clips and movies available for download. If you regularly visit the Internet Archive, you already know that many of the videos are very, very strange. Here are eleven clips of some of the weirdest, just click on the pictures and step into the bizarre.

1. One Got Fat

Watching children wearing crude monkey masks biking around the neighborhood and getting into various accidents is more surreal than you might think. And, boy howdy, this educational film on bicycle safety has gotta be one of the most surreal. The creepy narration sure doesn't help matters. Read the comments on archive.org, many of which state this film gave the viewers nightmares for years.

2. The Relaxed Wife

Proclaiming the wonders of "ataraxi medicines", this 1957 gem portrays a stressed husband freaking out while his calm, probably tranquilized wife tries to calm him down. Lots of bizarre images in this one, but I won't spoil it for you. Just keep in mind mixing drugs with bad acting never pays off.

3. The Talking Car

A young boy named Jimmy almost gets run over by a car, the result of which leads to his dreaming of automobiles talking to him. Fortunately he learns the "see & be seen rules" of traffic safety from the talking cars and goes on to live a full rich life not getting run over. Phew!

4. Experiments in the Revival of Organisms

(Warning! You May - And Probably Will - Find This Video Very Disturbing!)

Gotta hand it to the Soviets for weird medical experiments. Or their gross disdain for canine life. In any case, this video depicts several blood circulation experiments performed on various unlucky dogs, the unluckiest one literally losing its head in the process. Those heartless Commie doctors! Makes me glad to live in Canada, where there is subsidized health care not involving my head being removed and hooked up to machines.
5. Lair of the Leeches

Nothing will ruin your day faster than being attacked by a giant leech. Or possibly being the guy who has to dress up like a giant leech in a horrible 50's flick. It'd be campy and funny if it wasn't somewhat disturbing to watch. Lots of screaming in this one, which only makes sense when you remember how loud you screamed at summer camp when a tiny leech attached itself to you.

6. Drugs Are Like That Too

Gotta love the theme song and images of drugs raining down in this anti-drug educational film. The best part of this movie, or at least one of the best parts, is the scene of a bald, portly businessman high on something cavorting around in traffic. Maybe he should have listened to Jimmy and his talking cars. The narrator of this film, Anita Bryant, goes on to compare various bad experiences to what it's like being on drugs. Personally speaking, after watching this film I felt like I was on drugs.

7. "Heartbreak Hotel" - Gisele MacKenzie

Possibly the worst cover of an Elvis song, ever. From the 50's show, "Your Hit Parade", this music clip is performed by Gisele MacKenzie, a singer I suspect nobody has ever heard of. I wonder if The King saw this clip; if he did, I bet Mr. Presley shot the television with a big, big handgun.

8. TeleComics

You'd think the concept of reading comics on television would be successful, but after watching this clip you'll realize how tragically wrong you are. Three stories here: "Danny March, Long Arm of the Law" (read: a cheesy Dick Tracy knock-off), "Space Barton", and "Kid Champion". All stories are portrayed in glorious black & white, with campy narration and sound effects. A horrible experience all-around.

9. Flying Saucer Trailer

The headlines scream, "Saucer Seen Over Miami!", "Saucer Over New York!" Watch the actors in this clip react while observing a flying saucer, and notice how they seem remarkably calm. Too calm, in fact. I guess in the 50's everyone was used to seeing UFO's. At around the one minute mark, we're treated to the sight of a flying saucer that looks remarkably like a giant horseshoe crab. Don't bother trying to make sense of most of the images in this trailer, as it seems like the film editor just grabbed random clips in order to make up this weird movie.

10. Bela Lugosi Meets the Brooklyn Gorilla trailer

In the mood to see two B actors rip off Jerry Lewis & Dean Martin? Well, go no further. The guy doing the Jerry Lewis impression is frighteningly good but the Dean Martin dude has to go. His singing is horrible, simply horrible. Poor Bela Lugosi, getting involved in this tawdry mess of a movie. Watch for the obligatory guy in a bad gorilla suit, too.

11. Doomsday Horror Animation

"The Day of DOOM is coming!" Created on what must've been a zero budget, this is the epitome of bad movie trailers. There aren't even actors, just horribly crude drawings and even worse narration! "It's easier to die than to live!"... what?!? "See the movie poster for time & date"... uh, no thanks. If the trailer for the film is this bad, watching the actual movie would be an exercise in masochism.

These eleven videos are just the strange tip of the "Iceberg of Weirdness". Next time you're bored, search through the Internet Archive's excellent collection of public domain movies, you'll be glad you did. Well, maybe not as glad as possibly traumatized. LOL But well worth wasting a few hours, anyway. Good luck, and beware of the giant blood-sucking leeches.

Weirdest Thing I Found on the Web: Taxidermy Rat Lingerie Collection

The fashion industry is always changing. Designers are going to the extreme to grab your attention and launch their look, design, concept, or line. Kristofer Paetau, of Rio de Janeiro, definitely took the fashion industry to a new, bizarre, and definitely odd, place: dead animals as accessories.

His very unique “collection” consists of five Chanel inspired pieces including a bra, thong, pair of high heeled shoes, handbag, and handkerchief that are all “ornamented” with taxidermy rats, complete with heads, feet, and tails. Some of the pieces are adorned with lace, pearls, and silk, as well.

To top it all off, the “collection” is modeled by several different transvestites, thus the name, “Trans Rat Fashion.” Fair warning, if you choose to visit the site, some models are nude or partially nude while posing for pictures with the garments, and there are a few disturbing nude poses. There are also video clips with sound of the fashion shoot that I chose not to view.

I have said before that the web will always provide us with interesting, odd and weird sites for our entertainment; even if they weren't necessarily created with that in mind. This one, one the other hand, is more freaky than entertaining. It's truly frightening to consider, what will the fashion industry think of next?

10 Outrageously Weird Websites That Make The Web Fun

These 10 bizarre websites make the Internet bigger, but not necessarily better is just another reason to check them out.

The Internet is a very big place where the normal world ends and the weird wonderful world of bizarre begins. These ten websites are no exception, but the exception and you'll soon be on your way to discover all of the wacky, wonderful subjects and topics that some people have thought would be awesome to dedicate an entire website to their bizarre sense of taste.

1.

Are you spending too many afternoons locked up in a room while flipping through a Victoria Secret catalog and spending some quality time with yourself? If the answer is yes, and you need some help, then look no further than this website. Complete with articles, and other information developed to help break the addiction and give hands around the world a much-needed day off.

2.

According to the website, T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. stands for Test With Inorganic Noxious Kakes In Extreme Situation. In 1995, Rice University designed and performed a series of tests to test the properties of the sponge desert snack known as the “Twinkie”. An entire website dedicated the Twinkie is pretty darn weird, but in this case interesting, too.

3.

This website is dedicated to condiments (not condoms, don't let the first entry on this list confuse you), but if you want to learn about mayonnaise your out of luck. Learn about some of the most popular condiments available to dress up any of your favorite sandwiches or fries.

4.

Just accept the fact that some fads just won't die. This website glorifies the obsession with the world's most horrible hairstyle faux pa. Everything that you never wanted to know about mullets can be found on this website.

5.

Now here is a collectible that I would have never thought about pursuing. Collecting barf bags is nothing but weird to me. So, if you are interesting in seeing some barf bags from around the world, then stop making excuses and pay this website a visit.

6.

This website is extremely weird even bordering dangerously close to stupid. Truthfully, I have found it terribly difficult to describe. To make things even worst this website allows its visitors to submit their own “Oo” to the list. This website is totally useless, incredibly difficult to explain and worthy of its place on this list.

7.

This website is the perfect place to find stupid gifts, gags and goodies that are as bizarre as this website is. Imagine the expression on your love ones face when they receive a Tattoo Sleeve, a Hillary Nutcracker or an electronic yodeling pickle as a gift from you. Just remember to remove the receipt, because payback is hell and there are plenty of odd, stupid and bizarre gift ideas to choose from and worst yet you might receive one of them as some kind of bizarre gift-giving payback.

8.

Finally a website that I can get behind even though it is bizarre. The Darwin Awards are awarded individuals who improve the world by accidentally removing themselves from it. Within the pages of the Darwin Awards are hilarious stories and events that chronicle the enterprising the demises of people doing some really bizarre things. Warning: Some people may realize that they can do two things at once; laugh and pee at the same time.

9.

Who farted? Rule number one should be, whosoever farts in a crowded elevator should have to endure fart jokes for the rest of the ride. Being the butt of jokes should make one think twice before cutting the cheese after the elevator door closes. Seriously, this is a bizarre website that outlines proper elevator etiquette especially when not riding alone.

10.

Have you ever wondered? I know I sure have. This website is the prefect ending to this article, because, well…Click if you dare. Believe me, it is a liberating feeling to have closure, finally.

Who Gave Them a URL?! 10 Totally Oddball Websites

The Internet is a maze of interesting and sometimes bazaar activities and entertainment that millions of people participate in everyday life. For some people this means the weirder the better and to be perfectly honest, sometimes the weird is a purer form of entertainment, because it requires a greater creative ability to make the weird enjoyable.

Stop worrying about what to get that person who already has everything, because unless the person that you know is a closet serial killer, then they probably don't have one of these. At “Corpses For Sale” you can purchase an incredibly realistic full body corpse with rotting flesh, teeth and yellow fingernails. The corpses are not real, but the expert craftsman sure makes one stop and take a double take and the reason, is because they look so real.

Looking for a bit of nerd humor with a tad of geekiness? This website offers an assortment of actual technical signs that are not normally funny, but these signs come complete with humorous captions that makes them funny to look at and to think about.

The website introduces an amazing illusion that will have you seeing dots for the rest of the day. Watch a rotating board containing three yellow dots and one green dot, that are there in front of your eyes one second and gone the next second. This is a really cool optical illusion that will capture your attention for the next few minutes.

Built to pay tribute to one of the world's most relied on consumer products “Toilet Paper”. This website presents an extensive collection of brands of toilet paper that range from the mundane to the exceedingly rare. This is a comprehensive Internet resource for learning about toilet paper.

Now, for a fun and dizzying activity that will freak out your mind and confuse your senses. Some sensitive observers may become dizzy and/or sick, so if you are one of these people, then you should leave the site immediately.

Angry Alien has created a new twist on the typical movie review. In 30-seconds, visitors can watch a troupe of bunnies re-enact some of the best movies of all-time in a movie parody sort of way. Some of these movies parody are absolutely hilarious and a must to watch. My personal favorites are: Borat, Jaws, The Grudge and Star Wars.

Sure, Dr Mega Volt is a tad bit weird and completely out of his mind. Anyone who would knowingly put himself in an electrifying situation has to be included in an article entrenched in the world of weird. This guy has either a death wish or he has found a job that pays really, really well.

The Department of Homeland Security introduced in 2002, the Homeland Security Advisory System that features a color-coded warning bar scale that ranges from green (Low-risk) to red (Severe-risk). Now, you can get you very own to download onto your computer for free. I don't know why anyone would want one of these, but there are some weird things that people want for some strange reason.

If you have wondered how many pennies would it take to fill-up a room, then this website will answer this question and continues to take this question even further. What would one billion pennies look like if stacked?

Developed in 1994, “The Really Big Button That Doesn't Do Anything” is a usual artifact that attracts thousands of people every day. Pushing the button is pointless, but for some reason people still continue to push the button regardless.

This Is Not Right: The 10 Most Eccentric Items Ever Auctioned Online

These crazy ten things that were either put up for sale or sold will blow you away and will leave you wide eyed and astonished. The following ten objects are in no specific order and are all considered to be pretty weird.

A Serial Killer's Fingernails

One of the weirdest things ever sold was a serial killer's cut fingernails. In 1979, two men named Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris rode through southern California on a killing spree that resulted in at least five victims.

Years later Roy Norris, the man in the mug shot above had his fingernail shavings that had been taped to the back of a Christmas card sold on the net. His fingernails only sold for $9.99 but still stand as one of the scariest and weirdest things ever sold on the internet.

A Person's Soul

In late 2007, an American man tried to sell his soul for $1 million dollars on the net. He said that the reason for selling his soul was to raise money for the Christmas season. He also said that the proud owner would be allowed to take the soul home in a glass jar along with a contract relinquishing ownership. The image above is a picture of the man who actually looks a little bit scary.

The following is a quote that the man had said about his soul,” I'm not really using it lately - and selling it on the internet is better than letting the Devil have it.” The soul never sold although it doesn't appear to be still up for grabs. FYI: In the past somebody's soul was successfully sold for $400.

A Liver

Another crazy item that was put up for sale on the net was someone's liver, which is the body part in the picture above. A guy from Florida tried to sell part of his liver for a possible organ transplant. The price for his liver reached $5.7 million dollars before being eventually pulled from the website it was being sold on. It was removed because it is illegal to sell body parts over the internet.

Haunted Rubber Ducky

Another very odd item sold on the internet was a haunted rubber ducky. In 2004, a man sold a so-called haunted rubber ducky, resembling the one above. He said his one and a half year old son had been telling weird and scary stories about fights that he and the duck had had. Also he said that his child had been bitten by the duck, making the child mean and vicious, and causing him to throw the duck across the room. After only 7 days on the site the rubber duck sold for the price of $107.50.

Jesus Toast

The seller of the product in the picture above had accidentally burnt his toast in a toaster. Before throwing the piece of toast away, he suddenly noticed the face of Jesus on his toast as if by some type of miracle. He put the odd piece of toast up for auction with the starting bid of $.99, although this piece of toast never ended up selling.

Justin Timberlake's French Toast

In March 2000, a leftover piece of French toast, half-eaten Justin Timberlake of N*SYNC was sold on a website. The entire group of N*SYNC was on the Z-Morning Zoo, some sort of TV show, on March 9th. On the show, Justin only ate one bite of his French toast! The seller said that the buyer would get Justin's half-eaten French toast, the fork he used, and the plate...complete with extra syrup! After a total of 40 bids and not even two days on the internet, the French toast was sold for a total of $3,154 dollars.

Rights to Name a Woman's Baby

In April 2005, a 33 year old woman named Melissa Heuschkel auctioned the rights to name her baby on the internet. After not being able to decide what to name her fourth child, Melissa decided to turn to an online bidding site. The rights for naming her child sold for a whopping $15,100 dollars. The online casino site named GoldenPalace.com bought the right of naming her baby. The casino website decided to name the child GoldenPalace.com. The image above is a picture of newly born GoldenPalace.com. Melissa said that the money received would go towards caring needs and toys for the new born baby.

Imaginary Friend

Another odd thing sold on the net was a guy's imaginary friend named Jon Malipieman. The image above is a picture of this imaginary friend Jon Malipieman, and as you can see he is imaginary. The man that sold Jon lived in the UK and said that he was selling Jon because he felt like he had grown out of him.

In the listings for the product the seller stated the following: “My imaginary friend Jon Malipieman is getting too old for me now. I am now 27 and I feel I am growing out of him. He is very friendly. Along with him, I will send you what he likes and dislikes along with his favorite things to do and his personal self portrait.” His self portrait is the picture you see above. Amazingly Jon Malipieman got 31 bids and ended up selling for over $3,000 dollars. Now that is Wacky.

Ghost Cane

In 2004 a so called Ghost Cane was sold on a bidding site. A woman in Indiana her dead husband's metal walking cane up for sale in hopes that her scared grandson would think that his grandfather's spirit would leave their house when the cane was sold.

The image seen above is actually a picture of the dead grandfather who is to the left, along with the scared grandson who is in the ladies arms. Her six year old grandson son thought that the grandfathers' spirit was haunting their home, causing him to be scared of everything. The cane received over 132 bids and sold for the price of $65,000 dollars. The buyers of the cane actually ended up being GoldenPalace.com.

Giant Cheetoh

In 2003 the worlds largest Cheetoh was put up for sale. The Cheetoh weighed more then a half an ounce and was as big as a kiwi. The image above is a picture of the giant Cheetoh and as you can see it is huge. The man who discovered the Cheetoh was Mike Evans.
