In the age Online shopping, shopaholics are having more trouble keeping their addiction under control. The Internet provides another whole new playground for their addiction to grow. Husbands, take your credit cards back or you might end up with one of these as your next birthday present. Well, at least it isn't another tie...

This company offers drinking products for parties, and crazy stuff like helmets for beer cans, or the "Bottle bong can" that makes drinking a bottle of beer much easier and much faster. Strange products, take a look!

iLove

The magazine ilove is the first magazine sold in a bottle, yes, in a bottle!

Instead of going to buy the magazine in a book shop, you have to go to the supermarket and buy the ilove bottle. To read it you only have to peel back the label and then enjoy the 32-page pocket-sized women magazine while you drink the refreshing Australian water.

The idea of this Japanese product is not to raise chickens from an egg but to grow a plant from inside an egg. Confused? The main idea is focused in three basic steps: cracking the ceramic egg, then watering it, adding a little bit of sun and there you have you a nice plant. It comes in a variety of designs and plants, nice!

This website is quite well-known by some people because it has appeared in the news, but for those who don't know it, here it is with a short description: these people sell NOTHING, yes, nothing for $9.95. It sounds kinda weird, and it IS weird, but they have great debates on the webpage that make you wonder whether you want to buy it for yourself or give it as a present to someone who has everything.

 And finally…

Reserve A Spot in Heaven

Reserve a spot in heaven is an excellent website, with the ironic purpose of selling passports directly to heaven before it's too late. The ticket comes with some advantages and privileges according to the travel kit you choose. The documentation for your demurrage in heaven and all the VIP passes are included.

You can also check out Reserve a Spot in Hell for those who would like to try hell, or you can send the passports directly to someone you dislike.

EBay Income Opportunities

The next time you are on eBay, look how many PowerSellers: you will find a few. Now consider that each one of them must be at least $ 1000 per month because by eBay requirement to become a PowerSeller. Silver PowerSellers make at least $ 3000 per month, while Gold PowerSellers do more than $ 10000, and the Platinum level is $ 25000. The first rank is Titanium PowerSeller, and enjoy, you must at least 150000 dollars in sales every month!

The fact that these people exist ahead gives you idea of income opportunities here. Most of them had never even begun to set up a business on eBay - they started the sale of a number of things, and then kept going. There are plenty of people whose full-time job is selling things on eBay, and some of them have been made for years now. Can you imagine that? Once they have bought the stock, everything else is almost pure profit for these people - they do not need to pay for all the facilities, staff, or anything else. There are several million pounds in enterprises with less profit than the reality does eBay PowerSellers.

Even if you do not want to quit your job and really go for it, you can still use eBay to make a second income. You can wrap orders during the week and take them to the post office for delivery each Saturday. There are few other things you could do with your spare time, which is slightly this kind of earning potential.

In addition, eBay does not care who you are, where you live or what you look like: PowerSellers some are very old or very young. Some live in the middle of nowhere to sell on eBay is one of the few alternatives to subsistence farming or being very poor. EBay tears to remove obstacles to win the real world that constantly puts in place. There is no interview and no commute involved - if you can post something, you can do it.

Stated in this way: if you know where to get something relatively inexpensive that you might sell, then you can sell it on eBay - and you can still get discounts for bulk wholesale, it is not really difficult. Buy a job lot of things in demand at a lower cost, sell it on eBay, and you are already making money, with no set-up costs.

If you want to soak your feet in the water before you commit to actually purchase something, then you can just sell things you have lying around the house. Search through the closet things that you never use, and you may just find that you have a few hundred dollars of stuff lying around in there! Such is the power of eBay: there is always someone who wants what you sell, whatever it is, and since they went looking for you, you do not even need to do whatever it is to get them to buy.

This Is Not Right: The 10 Most Eccentric Items Ever Auctioned Online

These crazy ten things that were either put up for sale or sold will blow you away and will leave you wide eyed and astonished. The following ten objects are in no specific order and are all considered to be pretty weird.

A Serial Killer's Fingernails

One of the weirdest things ever sold was a serial killer's cut fingernails. In 1979, two men named Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris rode through southern California on a killing spree that resulted in at least five victims.

Years later Roy Norris, the man in the mug shot above had his fingernail shavings that had been taped to the back of a Christmas card sold on the net. His fingernails only sold for $9.99 but still stand as one of the scariest and weirdest things ever sold on the internet.

A Person's Soul

In late 2007, an American man tried to sell his soul for $1 million dollars on the net. He said that the reason for selling his soul was to raise money for the Christmas season. He also said that the proud owner would be allowed to take the soul home in a glass jar along with a contract relinquishing ownership. The image above is a picture of the man who actually looks a little bit scary.

The following is a quote that the man had said about his soul,” I'm not really using it lately - and selling it on the internet is better than letting the Devil have it.” The soul never sold although it doesn't appear to be still up for grabs. FYI: In the past somebody's soul was successfully sold for $400.

A Liver

Another crazy item that was put up for sale on the net was someone's liver, which is the body part in the picture above. A guy from Florida tried to sell part of his liver for a possible organ transplant. The price for his liver reached $5.7 million dollars before being eventually pulled from the website it was being sold on. It was removed because it is illegal to sell body parts over the internet.

Haunted Rubber Ducky

Another very odd item sold on the internet was a haunted rubber ducky. In 2004, a man sold a so-called haunted rubber ducky, resembling the one above. He said his one and a half year old son had been telling weird and scary stories about fights that he and the duck had had. Also he said that his child had been bitten by the duck, making the child mean and vicious, and causing him to throw the duck across the room. After only 7 days on the site the rubber duck sold for the price of $107.50.

Jesus Toast

The seller of the product in the picture above had accidentally burnt his toast in a toaster. Before throwing the piece of toast away, he suddenly noticed the face of Jesus on his toast as if by some type of miracle. He put the odd piece of toast up for auction with the starting bid of $.99, although this piece of toast never ended up selling.

Justin Timberlake's French Toast

In March 2000, a leftover piece of French toast, half-eaten Justin Timberlake of N*SYNC was sold on a website. The entire group of N*SYNC was on the Z-Morning Zoo, some sort of TV show, on March 9th. On the show, Justin only ate one bite of his French toast! The seller said that the buyer would get Justin's half-eaten French toast, the fork he used, and the plate...complete with extra syrup! After a total of 40 bids and not even two days on the internet, the French toast was sold for a total of $3,154 dollars.

Rights to Name a Woman's Baby

In April 2005, a 33 year old woman named Melissa Heuschkel auctioned the rights to name her baby on the internet. After not being able to decide what to name her fourth child, Melissa decided to turn to an online bidding site. The rights for naming her child sold for a whopping $15,100 dollars. The online casino site named GoldenPalace.com bought the right of naming her baby. The casino website decided to name the child GoldenPalace.com. The image above is a picture of newly born GoldenPalace.com. Melissa said that the money received would go towards caring needs and toys for the new born baby.

Imaginary Friend

Another odd thing sold on the net was a guy's imaginary friend named Jon Malipieman. The image above is a picture of this imaginary friend Jon Malipieman, and as you can see he is imaginary. The man that sold Jon lived in the UK and said that he was selling Jon because he felt like he had grown out of him.

In the listings for the product the seller stated the following: “My imaginary friend Jon Malipieman is getting too old for me now. I am now 27 and I feel I am growing out of him. He is very friendly. Along with him, I will send you what he likes and dislikes along with his favorite things to do and his personal self portrait.” His self portrait is the picture you see above. Amazingly Jon Malipieman got 31 bids and ended up selling for over $3,000 dollars. Now that is Wacky.

Ghost Cane

In 2004 a so called Ghost Cane was sold on a bidding site. A woman in Indiana her dead husband's metal walking cane up for sale in hopes that her scared grandson would think that his grandfather's spirit would leave their house when the cane was sold.

The image seen above is actually a picture of the dead grandfather who is to the left, along with the scared grandson who is in the ladies arms. Her six year old grandson son thought that the grandfathers' spirit was haunting their home, causing him to be scared of everything. The cane received over 132 bids and sold for the price of $65,000 dollars. The buyers of the cane actually ended up being GoldenPalace.com.

Giant Cheetoh

In 2003 the worlds largest Cheetoh was put up for sale. The Cheetoh weighed more then a half an ounce and was as big as a kiwi. The image above is a picture of the giant Cheetoh and as you can see it is huge. The man who discovered the Cheetoh was Mike Evans. Before the Cheetoh could be sold it was taken off line and donated to a small town as a tourist attraction. Before being taken offline, the Cheetoh had received bids of up to $180 dollars and still had days left in the auction.

Three Alternatives to Ebay for Selling Your Handmade Jewelry Online

If you sell your handmade jewelry on Ebay, you may be frustrated with the constant changes in fee structure and the low prices you get for your designs. Buyers on Ebay tend to have a bargain basement mentality which makes it difficult to get the full value for your hard work and time. Instead of selling yourself short, maybe it's time to get pursue other markets for your handmade jewelry. Here are some of the best alternatives to Ebay if you want to sell handmade jewelry online:

Online Jewelry and Craft Galleries

A variety of online galleries have sprung up on the internet making it easy for you to sell handmade jewelry online to a national and even an international audience. Listing your jewelry on these sites is usually no more complicated than creating a listing on Ebay. If you choose to use this option, it's important to choose a site that has items that are consistent with your type of jewelry designs. For example, you wouldn't attempt to sell sophisticated sterling silver jewelry with gemstones in a country craft mall. It's also important to choose a mall that gets high traffic. One site to consider is Beadiest where you get a free two week trial to see if their site will work for you.

Just Beads

Just Beads is an online site dedicated exclusively to buying and selling beads, jewelry components, and finished jewelry. If you make your own handmade beads, pendants, or other jewelry components, this is an excellent site for sales because they have a loyal audience of bead and component buyers. If you sell finished jewelry, this site may be worth a try, although you'll likely have more success in an online jewelry or craft gallery where visitors are focused on buying finished products. If you make lampwork or polymer clay beads and pendants, Just Beads may be just the market you're looking for.

Your Own Wesite

To successfully sell handmade jewelry online from your own web page, you'll need to create an attractive website with clear photos of your work. In addition, you'll need a shopping cart to process sales as well as the ability to accept credit cards. If you don't want to bother getting your own merchant account, Paypal provides a viable alternative for receiving payments, although you may lose out on some sales from people who don't have Paypal accounts. The biggest barrier to success with a stand alone website is building traffic.

Promoting your site could take a fair time and energy which will require time away from designing jewelry. Be sure you're ready to make this commitment. There are a variety of ways to drive traffic to your handmade jewelry website. One of the most effective is to publish a blog with useful information on how to wear your jewelry along with photos of your designs. People love ideas and inspiration on how to enhance their appearance with jewelry.

As you can see, there are a variety of ways to sell handmade jewelry online. Why not see if these markets will work for you?

A Few eBay Tips For Success

New to eBay? Follow these steps: Visit
eBay.com
online in your country. Wait, before you start, think of a user name that fits the items you'll sell. If your name is Pam and you plan to sell dolls, you could make your user ID PamDolls. This way buyers or sellers can recognize what you do.

Follow the instructions and open an account. After opening an account, you'll be able to do business as a buyer or seller. It's very easy; follow the instructions. If possible, print each page you fill out while opening your eBay account. You may also want to write down the same information you typed on the application somewhere else for future reference. Believe me, sometimes we forget our User ID or pass word. Tip: eBay also has live help online to assist you with your questions.

Next thing you need to do is open a
Paypal
account. This account is where your funds will be stored. You'll transfer funds from your external savings or checking to your Paypal account. You can use the funds from your Paypal account to pay for listing fees on eBay and paying for items you may purchase from other eBay sellers. Paypal also takes a percentage of your funds when someone pays you for something you sold on eBay. You can also set-up to pay your fees by credit card.

It's highly recommended that you start out as a buyer on eBay before you start selling... You may buy a few inexpensive items for under $5.00, even items that you don't need. You may buy Ebooks for under $3.00, a few items you may need. how to, guides or anything. Or you may want to buy a few things that you really need. This is important because you need feedbacks from others from eBay sellers. Some eBayers believe that feedbacks are very important for their business; it shows the type of sellers or buyers they are in eBay community.

Before you buy from a seller, look at their feedbacks; if their feedbacks score falls below 97% be careful. Make every effort to buy from sellers with feedbacks of 97% or higher. When buying from a seller, always look at their feedback scores and read some of their feedbacks.

Ready to Sell?

If you're new to eBay, the first place you need to look for items to sell on eBay is in your home. Select a few inexpensive items from your home that you no longer need; also do some research on eBay to see what other sellers are charging for similar items to yours. You can sell almost anything from new and used clothes, jewelry, toys, games, records, antiques the list goes on. Look around in your house; you may be surprised when you discover the amount of money you can make by simply selling things from around the house.

You can consider selling things that you're knowledgeable about; this way you know you're bringing your passion to the table. Let's say you're a piano teacher and you are familiar with various types of piano lesson books, you could write an excellent detailed description of the books by giving as much detailed information as possible. Be careful though, try not to fall in love with the items you're selling; you'll end up hoarding stuff instead of listing them for sale. Other places you may obtain great bargains are garage sale, estate sale, auctions sites locally or online and storage.

Ready to take your eBay business to the next level?

You've been selling for about four weeks now, with some degree of success.

Follow these steps and you'll surely reap success:

Recognize the successful products on eBay.

Choose the products you plan to sell on eBay.

Locate the source you'll purchase supplies from (Wholesale Distributor).

Write your successful listing for your products.

List your items.

Manage your eBay business successfully.

Websites cost money to build and host. And free web pages generally look free. But there is an alternative, and the great thing is you can build as many of these free web pages as you like.

What's more, it won't cost you a dime to set up and host each one, because it's all done for you. They also look extremely attractive, are fully customizable, and can get you noticed by
Google
within days. You can also promote your business as much as you like without breaking any rules on self promotion.

These pages are known as lenses, and they are available from a site which goes by the bizarre name of
Squidoo.

You can give your lens any name you like, and your domain name will be their website address followed by a forward slash and then your lens name.

You can use modules from
Amazon

,
eBay
and many others to help monetize your lenses, and you can also insert your own affiliate links wherever you like. The more popular your lens becomes, the more you will earn from it (Squidoo also pays each lensmaster a royalty each month, which depends on how well each of your lenses is performing).

So start Squidooing now - you won't look back.

Ebay for profit

Most of us know how EBay works, so I'm not going to give you a lesson in the basics, but there are simple tips you can use to maximize your profits at little risk to yourself, especially if you are starting with very little money to buy saleable items. Here's my step by step overview to building wealth through auctions.

 1. Do your research. Many items sell well on EBay, but a few don't. Start by selecting a few Items and looking them up on EBay and seeing what they go for and if they are selling.

 2. Make sure you know what your item is. You absolutely have to write a clear, full and tempting description. 10 minutes on this now will bring in the highest bids.

 3. Take a clear photo. Photograph the item in natural light, on a plain background, and if there are particular features make sure you capture those. A good moneysaving tip is to take two pictures, and graft them together so that you only send one (free) image to EBay, saving yourself the fees from another picture.

 4. Use the gallery option. Yes, it costs a few extra cents, but you really do get more bids when the picture is visible in a search.

 5. Don't pay for any other extras. At this stage, you want a simple, no frills option to maximize your profits.

 6. Calculate postage accurately. Don't be tempted to try to make your money on the postage fees. It's proven that people bid more generously on auctions where it is clear the postage charged is close to the actual stamp value. Round up a little for packaging, but where possible you want to use recycled packaging to save money and the environment.

 7. Start the bidding at the lowest amount that will cover your expenses. If that's all it sells for, you haven't lost out, but a low start tempts buyers in.

 8. Be approachable. State in the auction that you are happy to answer questions and want the buyer to be pleased with the purchase. Leave positive feedback as soon as you get paid, wrap securely, and include a businesslike but friendly note with the parcel. This ensures good ratings, and buyers who will bid with confidence.

 9. When this auction is over, put your starting 'stake' away, the profits can now be used to buy and resell as you see fit, but you cannot lose money as you have already reclaimed the starting point.

 10. If you are trying to accumulate wealth, get into the habit of banking or saving half the profits from every sale. Your capital to invest in selling more items will still be going up, but your savings will too.

Hope this has been of some help. It's important to take a logical approach to any of the online auction houses, but if you do you will steadily see profits and savings, which you can in turn use, to swell your empire! Good Luck!
